The current 4th-seed Pelicans are 26-23 and have lost 6 in a row.

After winning 2 in a row, the Trail Blazers are one of only three teams in the Western Conference that have won 2 or more consecutive games - Clippers 3 , Phoenix 4.

Teams over .500 in the last 10 games: Denver 8-2 , Sacramento 7-3 , Oklahoma City 7-3 , Memphis 6-4, and Minnesota 6-4 .

The West is fucking wild this season. The fact that we are only 2.5 games out of HCA (I know that's just the vernacular and it means a helluva lot more than winning three) means we can really do something. I know Denver seems great but they just aren't, we definitely aren't but a few moves could make us something more than the teams in front of us. We need a second all star and if that means giving up Ant and Nurk, which it should, we'll need a starting C, a backup PG and more size on the bench. I think it could be done. We just have to see our front office get really ambitious and really urgent.

its personal between kevin & nurk, its his second tweet in a few days where talk shit about nurk

when kessler was outplaying nurk, he jumped on it, but when nurk was outplaying kessler in the 3rd quarter, he said nothing

How is Denver not great? They’re healthy, they have the best player in the world, and have the best record in the West and are starting to run away with it. I hope the Blazers win the title but the Nuggets are the clear favorite.

I can't see the tweet, what was said?

what do you mean ? Why not? Btw I’m on @THE HCP side
Being on his side is something you might want to take a look at. Make a statement and support him. I get that. I even encourage that but you must understand there is more to it. Much more. There are certain things i simply will not go into on this forum. As you might understand there are certain things he simply should not as well.
Got nothing to do with who is on who's side.

that was fairly-cryptic

Just sos I understand what some claim...Wenbayama will turn any team into an instant contender. Really? He alone would take the Rockets to contention for a ring? I find that really really hard to fathom. They are a shit show and I refuse to believe one guy will fix that. Am I crazy? Is he that good?

Yes he will. I look at Shaq and LeBron. They both took a team from the bottom of the basement to the NBA Finals in their 4th season. That's pretty much what I mean by instant contender. Just think what he'd do to our middling team. Probably contender in his first or second season. Wemby may be better than Shaq and LeBron.

I'd say the thinking is that he's going to be an elite player, and is a unicorn kind of like Giannis

but instant contender? nope. It wasn't till his 9th season that Lebron won a championship and it took being teamed with DWade and Bosh. Giannis didn't win a championship till his 8th season, and it took Jrue, Middleton and Lopez to do that

Wemby might be a great player but he'll still need some all-star level teammates

Giannis was a long term project. Took him years til he even made an All Star team. Wemby will be an All Star next season. LeBron might've taken 9 seasons to close the deal but he had the Cavs in the Finals in his 4th year, had the best record in the league in his 6th year. Also- Wemby is better than LeBron.

So who is going to be picked last of the starters in the All Star draft? Mitchell or Kyrie? Jokic our of bitterness?

Luka left Mavs game with high ankle sprain in the 1st quarter. If he misses much time they could plummet down the standings.
