That's disingenuous. Of course he wasn't last year, when playing with Giannis. I modified your link with a random year selection from his Portland tenure, and he was 5th in '19-20:

That was the whole goal of defenses: trap Dame and try to force a bad pass. The team had no reliable counter to that.
I'm not trying to say Dame hasn't been doubled teamed throughout his career. He has. And you are right, Giannis is double teamed a lot and would adjust the numbers.

But comparing and defending Dame to MJ in terms of being double teamed is.....interesting.

I agree. One is the greatest of all time and one isn't.

Dame wasn't even top 10 for doubled players last year. Edwards was 3rd.

Have you ever heard of the "Jordan rules"
So you are going to base your position on last year? Okay.
And by the way. Jordan rules were from the top of the key. Not half court. Depended on what position he was playing. He was usually playing wing so there is very little comparison.

That was actually my point with Edwards. You simply cannot compare what they are doing to him with Jordan.
Remember I said "Wonder what MJ's response was?".
It would have been closer to compare him probably to SGA though. I could have made a better choice there.

No, I'm not basing my position on just last year.

What position does Anthony Edwards play?

Still waiting on any links from you that Dame is more knowledgeable than Jordan on double teams.

So you want a link that says Dame is more knowledgeable about doubles than Jordan?
Thanks for clarifying that. I’ll let you find one that says he isn’t.

Kyle Kuzma ( Someone desperately wants to get traded)

“I think today I just decided to be myself and not really just try to fit into everything that we’re doing here, and just really played in the moment,” Kuzma said. “I think my mom helped me out with that. I saw her today.” Asked immediately what he meant by playing in the moment and not trying to fit in, Kuzma answered, “I mean just not trying to fit into what we’re trying to do here. Just being more assertive, demanding the ball, not just going out there and trying to let people develop. Just playing my game.”

Sounds like he’d fit right in here.

Joe Cronin after hearing this:

YOU FIT OUR PLAN! YOU COMPLETE ME.

Amen Thompson seemingly getting better every day. Besides his terrific defense, made some clutch shots tonight, including the game winner.

he had 7 points on 11 shots tonight....playing in the moment!

Thompson can’t shoot for shit and he knows it. He’s made just 24 percent of his threes on a meager 56 attempts this season. That’s about as many threes as Tyrese Maxey has taken in his last five games. Still, the Rockets are a better offense when Thompson is on the court and that’s because he’s one of the most prolific opportunistic scorers in the NBA. Thompson is one of six players this season that have scored 100 or more points off turnovers, second chances, and fastbreaks.

Shaedon not in the slam dunk contest? Damn

This podcast and these Heat fans are getting exactly what they deserve. All of these chumps were dogging Blazer Brass for not taking the shitty Miami deal. Butler too, he was tampering. I'm absolutely elated watching these clowns backpedal fast than Michael Jackson
