Cavs interested in Little and #23. Don't see what they can give us. Okoro? Add Nurkic and get Allen?

Saw that. Don't like anything obtainable on their roster really. Isn't Okoro just Little without a team friendly contract? Osman isn't worth it either. Allen about the only thing I'd want from that roster.

Golden State Warriors Could Pursue This Major Draft Trade
There have been reports about the possibility of the Golden State Warriors using a player like Jonathan Kuminga in a trade that moves them up in the 2023 NBA Draft. During a recent podcast episode, NBA insider Jake Fischer said the Warriors could be looking to move up even further than the 10th pick in the draft.

This would be a major trade if the Warriors were to move up even higher than 10th, but according to Fischer, the player Golden State would be targeting in this move is not likely to be available at the 10th pick. If this is true, it begins adding some clarity as to why the Warriors would be open to moving one young and inexperienced player for an even younger and more inexperienced rookie.

It's no secret that the Warriors have been attempting to thread the needle on their nearly impossible two-timeline plan. Golden State won a title in 2022 despite this approach, but last year's roster really felt the impact of ownership refusing to go all-in on win-now pieces. With a player like Kuminga reportedly growing unhappy with his inconsistent role, a move may be necessary if there is no direct path to increased minutes next season.

I was about to write I think this kills any Blazer / Celtic deal but getting rid of a guard kind of keeps it in play but just not as likely but it still all hinges on if Dame can convince Brown to tell the Celtics he will not accept and make it clear he would like to be a Blazer. However IF it does happen I expect it to be done quickly and I would say if it's not done by early morning to noon it prolly is not happening at all and the Brown to Portland dream has died. If it does Happen Blazers you need to get at least one of those future 1sts in the deal ... just sayin

--- I bet Khris goes back to the Bucks on a 2 or 3 year deal just less money similar to how Green might go back to the Warriors just take a little less

Screw trading for Brown can we trade the 23rd pick for the rights to steal Stevens away from the Celtics but that would mean Jody would have to pay him a huge salary and well .... NM

C0uld it have something to do with Smart, Brown and Tatum in the locker room?

celtics won big

A good deal for the Celtics on paper... though I wonder if they will miss a bit of Smart's feistiness (especially if Porzy pushes out Horford as well). The Celtics were a bit of a soft team previously, and I don't think it makes them tougher.

The "two firsts" is a touch misleading on face value as they are simply moving up 10 spots (from 35th, coincindentally our native 2nd rounder) this year while also acquiring a protected Golden State first.

These are the same pretty meh firsts discussed in the "four firsts offered for Bridges" scenario. Again, it's a good deal for the Celtics, but I also think there is still some relative risk here.

It seems most agreed Smart was the guts of the team and their best defender, easily. Traded for an injury prone big/wing??
Memphis' good defense is now much better.

Smart was very on and off this season...

For his career. Good at defense, subpar at offense. To get upset (not you) at the Blazers not trying to get him is laughable.
