Knicks are clear 2nd team in the East and might be able to give Boston a run for their money. The rest of the field is a big step back.

Bucks future is really uncertain - they have no ability to add talent except for their 2031 pick. Orlando/Cleveland/Indy will be fighting with them for HCA.

Knicks can just try to draft Ware at 25. I don't think they will miss Hartenstein that much. They have Robinson too.

Brooklyn has their own 2028 pick its just they also have a swap available with Phoenix.

I'm not sure on Brooklyn 2027 swap they had given Houston - I'd imagine Brooklyn got that back as well - in which case Brooklyn would control every one of their own picks in full for the next 7 years.

This is elementary / high school days for me. Attitude Era.

Texas Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin 3:16, The Rock, Bret The Hitman Hart, Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Dude Love / Mankind / Cactus Jack

Idk if it's an age thing but I feel that was peak WWF

Austin's intro is fitting for the Woj Bomb

Now, let's get some Blazer-related excitement. We cannot be using all 4 draft picks tomorrow without making any moves before the draft

We need to do that. The OKC way is the way.
Yup we need to take that path - just get as many FRP for any of Brogdon/Grant/Simons/Ayton as we can.

Eventually I'd love to do what the Knicks did and overpay for an allstar giving up 4 future FRP. But we need to get a star or two of our own, and build up those picks so we are able to strike at the right time in a few years.

This is so contrary to the whole spirit of sports. Imagine a parent explaining to their Nets fan kid
"No really, this is great! Oh, the team's going to be just terrible for the next 5 or 6 years - I mean just completely awful. Isn't it great?"

The Nets were terrible last year while trying and ended up with the 3rd pick - but they didn't get to keep it as that got routed to the Rockets.

Net's are going nowhere so might as well trade Bridges and I applaud the Net's FO for making a bold decision even if it could set the team back for a few years. Sometimes you have to take a few steps back to go forward and IF i was a Net's fan i would be sad to see a very good player leave but hopeful for the future.

sidenote - I wonder if the Net's will give Claxton a bag of money to stay OR will they give it to someone who was a Knick like a certain Center they cannot re-sign ... I guess we shall see

BIG POPPA PUMP

That’s how you do it. Not this half assed shit the Blazers have done.

Cronin has been awful at tanking with this mix of vets
Only if he can’t convert them into assets this summer. There wasn’t much reason to full tank this year. We tied for the third worst record and only got 7th.

Brogdon, Grant, Thybulle, Williams and Ayton can all go!

I'd only move Simons if we get something good.

So if I am right when it comes to FA's and I mean impact FA's were at like ...

Paul George - maybe
OG

- I feel I am missing one other or am I but if that is the case players like Grant and Ant and to a lesser degree Brogs and even lesser degree Thybulle and Williams could be could targets for contenders -- this FO needs to try it's best to take advantage of it and strike while teams might be desperate err I mean eager to get better -- LOL

It’s funny but I actually want to trade Simons more than I want to trade Grant. We have guards. We don’t have a decent power forward to replace Grant at the moment.

Why can’t Cronin offer the same thing or more for Bridges?

I like Scoot but Simons is good insurance.
