That hotel is cool. What I do is, hide in my room, watch Seinfeld and pretend I’m in NYC.
Not wondering the halls enjoying the exhibits?

I love doing that at 3am in any of them (I think they have 6 or 7 locations now)

So, Doc inherited a team that had one of the best records in the league, limped them into the playoffs and got beat by a Indiana team that was prematurely successful and now he’s calling the shots personnel wise??
Lopez is expensive. Maybe Milwauke is making room for Lillard's mega-max?

Who said anything about Duop?

Kessler is a better prospect than Clingan is. Id love to have him in Portland (if the price is reasonable)
Duop is a vet minimum, just shows how irrelevant Kessler or Clingan will be even if they fulfill their potential.

Wait? Didn't all three Giannis, Lillard and Middleton get injured? Wasn't Doc there for less than 30 games?
I understand it's proper S2 etiquette to hate on Doc Rivers but this seems a bit over the top?

So he should make personnel decisions because he lost good players? The team was on a downward trajectory right after he got there.

Idk in what world you put JJ Reddick and Steve Kerr in the same sentence, but apparently it’s this one.

I’ve heard that Reddick is qualified as a coach, but he’s going to have to prove it. I knew Kerr would be a good coach, even if he came into his coaching career with one of the best rosters in recent NBA history. Reddick on the other hand will have his work cut out for him.

Obviously the team was on a downward trajectory before he got there or he would not have got there.

Kerr would’ve have been fired after 6 months if he took the Knicks job. Luke Walton coached the Warriors roster better than Kerr.

I kinda think Luke did well but Kerr had put it together? maybe I'm wrong on that?

They weren’t close to that good. I think they had only won 30 games.
Yeah Jan 26th they were 30-13. Still good but there were obvious issues. Thing is and this is fair. Doc really didn't fix much. they went 19-20 the rest of the way dealing with some injuries and 10-12 in March and April. Something about that double OT loss to the Lakers was defining? You just knew it wasn't their year after that.

And they lost like they should when the schedule got tougher. You make it sound like it's a difficult concept to grasp.
They were expected to be a title contender. Tough schedule or not, being under .500 is completely unacceptable

I guess that depends on how much you value reason... They were only a disappointment if you couldn't see how terrible the Jrue -> Dame swap was for the make-up of the team. Sure, they fell off to sub-standard levels with the late injuries, but it was going to be a relative struggle with the tough schedule stretch, regardless.

3 maybe a future 1st and parts like Brooks and Jeff Green would be a solid haul for the Clippers IF this is true and if it happens this would be a win / win for both teams IF the deal is like I laid out and it does work in a trade machine too.

This trade makes sense BUT I could see a 3rd team involved like the Blazers -- Grant to Clippers since they want to win now but this is just wild wild speculation on my part.

That would be a pretty solid move by Cronin if he could pull it off. Which I don't believe he can.

ya I know me either but one can dream and hope that maybe he has learned from his mistakes and BTW if this deal happened ( George to Rox not my addon idea ) could make the Dame deal look worse depending what the Clips got for him just sayin -- but hopefully in a few days things are looking brighter for the future and I can stop bashing Cronin and praise him for once since that would mean good things more then likely for the Blazers.
