I didn't say it was right? I have not and will not minimize his actions in any way. I just won't hold judgement on him as I know better.
Also- Would you honestly want to know about the things i did between the ages of 19-23 in the 80's? I can promise you it wasn't pretty at times.

I think you nailed it though. Times have changed. Cameras are everywhere. Gun shootings are at an all time concern.
He should know better because of these things. Many ways to let off steam. If a 23 yr old nba superstar isnt able to read the room( the world) about this gun topic, thats a major concern in my book.
With todays news being everywhere aNd gun shootings almost daily, there is no excuse. Letting off steam or not. Its simply not acceptable aNd i personally dont care if he is suspended for all of next season.
If he had gotten drunk and said stupid shit on camera, thats one thing. Waiving a gun around is completely different.
if Meyers can be blackballed for a racial slip at his house online, then this should just as bad of consequences
As someone who believes in the second amendment, this is the type of behavior that puts the amendment into question.
This isnt stealing a candy bar or getting into a fight in the bar. there is no reason he should have a gun, let alone brandishing it for cameras.
some things people must be held accountable for regardless of age.
My opinion anyhow. :)
 
Go back and look at Moses Malone footage. My man would just tap the ball against the backboard a couple times RACKING up the rebounds!
 
read one article that said Ja would have had to have carried the gun on a team flight, which is a BIG no no. Could be a big suspension. Will be interesting to see if the league has the balls to suspend a one of their young up and comers for this.

 
How does the NBA allow Scott Foster to continue to be a ref in the league? This was a 1 point game with 28 seconds remaining and he ejects Scottie Barnes for not saying much. Even the other 2 refs didn’t know why he was ejected.

Foster gets to do whatever he wants with no accountability.

Probably had money on Denver.

He called a Toronto challenge unsuccessful giving Denver free throws, called a Denver challenge successful giving Denver more free throws, called a weak foul on the Raptors giving the Nuggets free throws, then ejected Barnes all in the last minute of the game.

The ref working with him has absolutely no idea what is happening.

Foster is an arrogant prick. To call a tech at that stage of the game .....it needs to be blatant.
 
We have Thybulle. Then we sign Simmons. Then we trade for DeAndre Jordan and Davion Mitchell and we'll be set. Dame never will have to dribble or play defense again.
 
OT: Geno Smith 105M for 3 years… how about getting Dame some help?

Golden State has the same problems as us. Although they have a far more talented roster, they are also trying to win while straddling the line between youth development/contribution and a veteran core. Both teams are finding it to be a difficult task.

Also similar, Jordan Poole seems to thrive more when Steph is not playing. This is like Ant excelling when he’s not playing with Dame.
