Jamaree Bouyea To Sign Two-Way Contract With Trail Blazers
November 11th 2023 at 1:56pm CST by Rory Maher
The Trail Blazers plan to sign free agent guard Jamaree Bouyea to a two-way contract, sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium (Twitter link). Portland will have a two-way opening once it officially converts Skylar Mays to a standard deal.

A 6’2″ point guard who went undrafted in 2022 out of San Francisco, Bouyea signed an Exhibit 10 deal with Miami last summer and was waived before the 2022/23 season started. While he spent most of his rookie season in the G League, he did play five NBA games for the Heat and Wizards while on 10-day contracts, averaging 3.0 PPG, 1.2 RPG and 0.8 SPG in 14.2 MPG.

The 24-year-old had a major role for the Sioux Falls Skyforce (Miami’s affiliate) last season, averaging 17.2 PPG, 6.2 APG, 6.0 RPG, 1.8 SPG and 0.9 BPG on .527/.321/.709 shooting across 38 Showcase Cup and regular season contests (35.0 MPG). Bouyea signed a two-way deal with the Heat this summer, but was waived a couple months later, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Portland’s roster will be full once Mays is promoted and Bouyea is signed.
It won’t be full if they get an injury exception for Williams.

Jesus….. Oubre was hit by a car tonight. Hope he’s okay. Gotta drop him from my fantasy team though.

So Dames calf is hurt again. That plagued him all season last year. He has sat two games and they’re 0-2 without him.

Clippers dysfunctionally bad since the harden trade. Been the worst team in the league
If that team is significantly below .500 when February begins or maybe even below .500 at all... I could see Ballmer really blowing shit up. Firing Lawrence Frank and Ty Lue, hiring a new President of Basketball Ops, who would be in charge of getting a new coach and trading whoever has to be traded to get that team into the playoffs. Ballmer is a very legit titan of business and I don't think he's afraid to shake things up.

I don't think Ballmer will just let this season pass by, pay that monstrous luxury tax bill, continue to spend money on that new arena and just watch his team miss the playoffs.

Just watched the 2nd half of the Clippers game down her in LA…..a lot of people booing Harden already!
Wow! Really?
He has some damage control to do. Maybe put in some work and show his worth. He can be a very good player. We all know it. We’ve all seen it.

Lue’s deal is up this year. He may well be looking to sign elsewhere. Feel bad for him. Imagine those migraines…

Ausur is having an impressive start to his career.

They won’t pull out of this unless there’s a trade or an injury. Horrible combination of players.
