I looked at the game cast from the Pacers/Warriors game. He scored 40 in the first half. And it took him 5 minutes and 21 seconds to score points 41-50 (as in, he scored his 50th point at the 6:39 point of the 3rd quarter).

He scored 10 more points up until 1:22 left in the game (for 5:17 additional minutes).

So he actually scored his 50th point in *less* than 27 minutes by a decent amount (approximately scored his 60th point in 27:52).

SO like I said, FAMS, he did not score 50 points the quickest or in the least amount of time, Klay Thompson did.
GOD YOU ARE A NERD!

  1. There are a lot of strong designs in this year's crop of NBA Cup courts, but the Portland Trail Blazers still felt like the obvious pick for No. 1.

The dark gray-to-black gradient behind the classic Blazers logo looks sharp. The contrast between that and the bright red sidelines and baselines makes the playing surface really pop. Vines intertwining "City of Roses" is a nice touch, too.

But the biggest reason Portland rose as high as it did are those roses overlaying the dark floor. They're a perfect, unique accent to the floor that's also a nod to the region.

I wish the league would let the Blazers use this floor permanently (without the stupid trophy in the middle).

100%. Without the stupid trophy this is a great floor. Even get rid of the cups in the key and just use a standard wood finish for inside the key, or leave the key with the rose pattern and have the wood finish outside the key but inside the 3-point line.

They could replace the trophy in the lane with a net.

Maybe... depending on how it's done. I feel like that might still be too much for my taste.

definitely would have to be done the right way. It could go from "this floor is awesome" to "this floor sucks ass" real quick.

Because of how bad the East is, we likely won’t have great lottery position in 2025.

Yeah, they have quite a few teams who appear to be on the same level as Portland. The good thing is they all play each other 3-4 times.

I know triple doubles are looked down on here, but I’m impressed.

Wolves up 8 at the half in Sacramento. If they get a nice win on the road for a cup game makes our 2 wins even more impressive.
