Dame does. He practices making the shot with the “foul.” He makes those double clutches.
I would like to see the percentage that he actually makes. 1 out of 20? out of 30? Never actually gets the call. Nearly always they say the foul is on the floor. Spends half the game complaining about a no call.
It's not just Dame either. It's pretty much every player on the court in the NBA anymore.
Have you noticed the international game?

He needs to be going for the shot anyway. If he does get the call it's always on the dammed floor mostly anyway.

Okay it's fucking Wednesday already. Let's get some action going. Gimme some damn trades.

I expect today to be quiet unless both GMs feel they need to make a trade to open a path to another trade or that it won’t be available once the big trades happen tomorrow and they both fear getting outbid. That said the anticipation and excitement is starting to get to me.

Lots of big trades went down before the draft last year. I was hoping it would be the same this year but so far it's not looking to be the case.

Yes, it seems like more stars will be moved this year. There are also a lot of pipedreams about things such as Dame being traded. All of this, plus some teams needing to wait until draft night to have draft capital available for trade (e.g. Blazers) is why I say this. Too many very large moving parts which create more complex trades and complex offers. We shall see, I'd say it favors the Blazers for fewer trades to happen today.

refresh my memory, what moves with big $ players (> 25 mil) were made before the draft last yeari thought most of the stuff was for role players

Chris Paul
Jrue Holiday
Bogdan Bogdonavic (lol)

Also depends if you want to count RoCo.

If I’m the Blazers I seriously consider the trade of CJ for 4th pick. Barnes, Suggs, Mobley and Cade I’d take any of the four. Barnes and Suggs would be my top choices

I think Barnes would fit in nicely but he probably won’t move the needle enforcer Dame.

with so few stars available in trade, trading up to get potential superstar might be your next best bet. Just get Dame to buy off on it, include him in the process

why would Toronto trade the 4th pick for CJ?

it is a bit shocking how few rumors there are at this stage, especially after all the predictions of teams being super active at the draft.

All 4 trades (Paul, Holiday, Bogdonavic, RoCo) came out of nowhere.

I mean everyone knew OKC was shopping Paul and Holiday was available, but no one knew where they were going to go.

4th pick can bust. CJ is sure thing. All NBA numbers when playing in 33 games without Dame.

LOL

all you have to do is ask yourself if the Blazers had the 4th pick, would they trade it for CJ. Would anybody here advocate for that?

If you were the Sixers what realistic player would they have targeted for Simmons? Is a CJ even a consideration? Or is it all speculation by blazers fans?

They would probably want a bunch of picks if not Little or Simons as well.

It's more likely they get Siakam or Beal than CJ
