They cant win the Conference and they had 1 top 25 win all year.Welp….. what does this do to the playoffs? Does tOSU have a better one loss resume than Oregon?
Ohio St should be ranked ahead of Oregon on Tuesday.Welp….. what does this do to the playoffs? Does tOSU have a better one loss resume than Oregon?
I wouldn't worry about it. I think they could lose today and it wouldn't really impact Oregon's chances; but they won't lose, so it doesn't matter.Getting really tired of having to root for Washington.
Why? The beat 1 top 25 team all year? Oregon has three now.Ohio St should be ranked ahead of Oregon on Tuesday.
If Oregon beats Washington on Friday, they should jump both Washington and Ohio St.
Problem is that the East coasters don’t look at the ranking at the time of the game. They look at the ranking now and they’re already spinning that we don’t have a ranked win. Watch them drop OSU out of the top 25 lolWhy? The beat 1 top 25 team all year? Oregon has three now.

You're correct .....thanksI believe they have 2 top 25 wins.
Penn State and Notre Dame are still ranked, too.
I believe, with a loss to Ore, UW would be ranked higher than Penn State. Notre Dame ranked ahead of OSU, so I think Oregon would have the better win and neither of them have a bad loss.

...& only one would be the Champion of their respective conference. Thats what I see as the obvious tie breaker in Oregon's favor for the Selection CommitteeI believe they have 2 top 25 wins. ...what happens next season???What a strange chain of events...
OSU football players gang rapes woman.
Canzano finds woman and brings her story to light.
Woman becomes advocate/speaker against sexual abuse by athletes.
Woman speaks to MSU.
MSU football coach sexually harasses her.
MSU fires coach.
MSU hires OSU coach.

...what happens next season???

Yeah that too. I think it’s pretty clear it’s win and you’re in for the Ducks...& only one would be the Champion of their respective conference. Thats what I see as the obvious tie breaker in Oregon's favor for the Selection Committee

Actually OR beat #19 colorado #13 utah #16 OSUI don't believe "ranked wins" is even a metric used by the committee.
Per the current CFP rankings:
Ohio St has beat: #11 Penn St, #18 Notre Dame
Oregon has beat: #16 Oregon St (OSU will likely be ranked below Penn St and ND on Tuesday)
Game control (not margin of victory) and the recent win streak will be in Oregon's favor. Strength of schedule will favor Ohio St. At the end of the day, I'm confident the conference championship boost will put Oregon over Ohio St regardless of where they are on Tuesday. Of course, Oregon has to beat Washington.
Yeah but the committee might only care where those teams are currently ranked.Actually OR beat #19 colorado #13 utah #16 OSU
God if Auburn could just hold on.
They were gonna win. How many teams have lost because of a special teams fuckup?Auburn sooks.
