gee...Washington doesn't look as good without Pac-12 officials, do they?

fuck the huskies and their fans...then....fuck their fans and the huskies...wait a minute, am I offending Sly?

DeBoer is a great coach though, Penix is a great QB, and those 3 WR's are legit.

So nice to finally see them get called for holding!

I think the Ducks would have given Michigan a better game and I still think Georgia was the best team.

If Georgia was the best team they would have won the SEC championship.

Also FUCK THE SEC never say they should win anything. No one should ever cheer for them unless they went to school there.

If I wasn't clear, FUCK. THE. SEC.

I'm with you on not cheering for the SEC.

Can't say I agree with your theory that the best team always wins.

You mean paid non-pac ten officials? I can’t count the jersey pull /holding plays I saw that weren’t flagged last night. It was really bad how many replays showed Michigan pulling jerseys and and no flag tossed…

Very true, and how good any team is varies from game to game with their injury report and an odd bounce of the ball or bad call often determines the outcome of a game. Fwiw, local Bay Area sports talk features a math wiz guest from UC Berkley I respect named Dr Bob Stoll who has made a career as a betting guru. According to his purely statistical modeling, the two best teams in the country this past season were Oregon and Georgia (tied) with Michigan and Washington rounding out the top 4.

One other thing to consider is if you’re in the top 4-5-6 conversation for a decade or more which the Ducks have been and the Huskies have not been you will eventually have a greater chance to succeed at getting the championship game win.
I know it’s totally non scientific and has absolutely nothing to do with players on the field but just overall program success seems to breed success.

I think Penix draft stock fell last night. He clearly doesn't handle getting hit well and when he's pressured he sails the ball off the back foot. His injury history will scare teams off.

Am I the only Ducks fan who was rooting for Washington?

I figured if Washington dominates it makes Oregon look like the second best team in the nation. Now that thought may be a backfire...lol.

Was very cool to see Dan Lanning with the announcers though!

hahahaha.

Isn’t the enemy of my enemy my friend though?

Edit: I guess that would make Michigan the friend. Dammit!!! L.

Yeah, I started out the game thinking the same way as you. Last hurrah for the PAC-12...Oregon only being beaten by the eventual national title winner...etc. Once the game started and I was actually trying to root for the purple hyenas though...I just couldn't. Huck the Fuskies now and forever.
