by the way, the Hawaii game next season has been cancelled/postponed. It's mostly because of Hawaii's stadium issues, and a little because Oregon scheduled the away game against the Beavers

more good news is that I believe Oregon's scholarship number is now either 86 or 87. The outgoing portal in now closed, IIRC. But any players arounf FBS still in the portal can still choose a school. I think Oregon might add a couple more players from that portal. So there will need to be some attrition in the Spring Portal

I'm still confused how anyone knows the scholarship number anymore. I don't believe Oregon shares that information. So much speculation about what if any of the specialists are on scholarship. Rumors of positions players that were thought to be on scholarship last year that may not have been.

NIL makes it difficult to track!

the On3 Duck forum has a thread tracking players on scholarship. It's not 'official' whatever that would mean in this situation. But on Jan 2, the number stood at 86 scholarships, but the author forgot to add one RB and didn't include specialists....so that might actually bump the number to 88-90

Oregon's D really took off when he joined them midseason. By the end of the year he was clearly hobbled again with some sort of leg injury he was playing through. Really hopeful Jestin has a relatively healthy final season as he's a difference maker.

Michigan gonna have a huge drop off and may lose their coach

OSU has major QB issues and offense looked like ass

I've seen a handful of scholarship trackers, but I haven't found one I have any confidence is fully accurate. How did their tracker count Casey Kelly, Connor Soelle, and the kickers, punters, and long-snappers last season? Read conflicting reports on most of them.
 
We got a transfer safety from I believe UTSA.

Also of note, Lanning is doing work with ESPN/ABC on the pregame, halftime and post game shows. With McAfee, Desmond Howard and herbstreit

I'm not so sure that would be good for Oregon.
 
I actually think Michigan is going abuse them in this game. Just like they would’ve done Oregon. Just such a physical team

I don't think it matters. Deboer would still be in the Big-10 but not with Oregon's every season rival

besides that, even though I doubt the rumor it will be nice seeing Husky fans sweat a coaching change instead of sweating one as Duck fan

Michigan definitely out recruits Washington though.

One school is far more committed to winning than the other. DeBoer is a weak recruiter, but Michigan recruits itself.

I agree that DeBoer to Michigan seems unlikely.
 
Michigans going to kick their ass. While throwing half the attempts and maintaining control of the time of possession
 
I watched something from the Daily Emerald on punter Luke Dunne from Australia and he spoke of having a scholarship so that is one scholarship going to a specialist. I would guess the top kicker they signed last year also got one. Don't think the OSU transfer will be getting one.
 
How is it that Washington is able to stay in every game while also looking like shit?
