The way everything played out was disgusting. I need to take a long break. College Football is the roughest in all of sports fandom.

Just sad. This team had a winless season in the last decade and somehow completely lapped us. If I’m Phil Knight I would be devastated

Jordan Burch announces he'll return for his senior season!! That's huge news for the Duck defense

also: Noah Whittington will return for his senior season as well, but he might not be 100% by the season opener

Crazy. It's almost like UW is pulling from far more people in a far larger market, in the middle of a premier city full of billionaires.

Instead of, you know, Eugene.

God what an excuse. You would have never thought the huskies would have lapped us

do you do anything besides troll this forum with dumb-ass takes?

college football is not static. Oregon played for the national championship after the the 2014 season and about 20 months later got beat 70-21 by Washington, and also lost to the Beavers. A year later Washington beat the Ducks 38-3 in Seattle. And then Oregon beat the Huskies 3 straight times. Who "lapped" who?

coming into this year's Civil War the Beavs had won 2 out of 3. So they had "lapped" the Ducks, according to your logic right? Oregon crushed OSU 31-7 and is heading to the Big-10. Meanwhile, OSU will be running laps in the MWC while begging the legislature to bail them out of their financial hole

IIRC, this season Washington was one of the most experienced teams in FBS while Oregon was one of the youngest. Their roster was filled with 5th and 6th year seniors and that includes Penix. They caught lightning in a bottle with Penix and their WR's, kind of like Chip did at Oregon. Deboer is a great coach and an average recruiter

this is the current composite ranking of this year's Big-10 class:

Washington is 10th, behind Purdue and Iowa. That's not a sustainable number for Washington if they want to compete for Big-10 championships

Ducks men's basketball team swept the Cougars and Huskies in Washington to go 4-0 in Pac 12 play. Shelstad continues to play well and Cousinard is just a go-getter, 7 rebounds ,, 3 steals and 16 points. They are quite deep at guard, Rigby was 4 for 5 on threes but coach puled him out early in second half and his replacement, Oquendo, went 4 for 4 on threes.
Admittedly, so far they have played four of the worst teams in conference. But if they can just win half their games until Dante and then Bittle come back, they should be in good shape.

Dude if your winning a national title who gives a shit about recruiting. We don’t have a single one! What the hell is recruiting doing for us. Washington is about to get one that’s the definition of lapping us even with our major headstart uncle Phil has giving us the past 25 years

good news

more good news is that I believe Oregon's scholarship number is now either 86 or 87. The outgoing portal in now closed, IIRC. But any players arounf FBS still in the portal can still choose a school. I think Oregon might add a couple more players from that portal. So there will need to be some attrition in the Spring Portal
