Got a blurry airport pic to back that up?Trying? There is no try, only do. BTW, my sources tell me that Lanning was in Alabama today for meetings.
I actually don't. Compared to being extremely well compensated while raising your young family in (IMO) the best part of the country where more or less you're already competing & recruiting at Bama's level, whats the big draw? Giant bugs? The humidity? The culture of entitled Cletuses? Dude is already making serious money at a high profile program, wheres the upside?I get the attraction to go to Alabama but deep down I would hate the move for a number of reasons including a number of players that have made decisions to play for the Ducks under Lanning. Not sure a coach can recruit quite the way Lanning has and then just leave? Johnathan Smith was quite different. His team and the conference his team was set to change to pretty much total obscurity. Lanning on the other hand has been and still is on solid footing.
Who would want to be the next coach after the guy who just won 5 natties at that schoool?I mean who would want to coach at the most decorated program in college football history???
