Jumper, but apparently a highly in demand one. You don't get hired by 15 different organizations in 25 years if you aren't pretty good at what you do.
Kind of looks to me like more of a ladder rather than Jumper.
Looks to me like eventually he wants to be an NFL coach.

Several steps backwards in there too though.
  • Vikings OC to Seahawks QB coach
  • Jaguars OC to Michigan PGC
  • Rams Asst-OC to Patriots QB coach
Still, I think we both agree that he's likely not long for this Huskies job. If he does well, I agree with you that he'll be back in the NFL very soon.

so do I!

yes, it could be some wishful thinking on my part. NCAA football is now essentially like the NBA if the NBA had 4 times as many teams, there were only 1 year player contracts, no restrictions on free agency, no tampering rules, no salary cap or luxury tax, and every team had dozens of openings every single season. It's the Wild West on steroids and Red Bull

Your prediction is looking better!

Looks like D. Martin is heading to Michigan St this would explain part of the reason his son left the program a couple weeks ago. While this is a loss cannot blame him for taking a job with his alma mater and while a loss for the program I am sure they will have great candidates lining up around the block to take his spot.

im excited to see who they hire

Doesn't bother me one bit. Might be a sign of things to come anyway...

Title IX and this nonsense. I do wonder, why is it that there are 4 more sports offered at the UO for women than men? I was a really good baseball player in HS but UO didn't have a team because of Title IX. The same thing ended up happening to the wrestling program for Oregon youth wrestlers. Why isn't variety of sports offered a consideration for equality? Women have more overall avenues to higher education scholarship by virtue of having a greater variety of sports options. Why must a male athlete be subject to playing football(a most dangerous sport) if he wants to increase his odds of playing for a scholarship at the collegiate level?

This is something I wrote a paper about as a college freshmen back in 1998 because I was still miffed by the lack of opportunities for baseball players in Oregon. How long ago was that? Why has the problem only got worse? Why is it important to fund a team of lacrosse players from Maryland because they have a vagina?
