Two major national college baseball publications — D1Baseball and Baseball America — are predicting that the Beavers will not land a top eight seed.

D1Baseball is forecasting that Oregon State will be a No. 9 seed opposite the Eugene Regional, meaning its road to Omaha would likely require a rematch in Eugene against the rival Ducks, who are projected as the No. 8 seed. Likewise, Baseball America sees the Beavers landing a No. 11 seed opposite No. 5 seed Vanderbilt, likely sending OSU to Nashville for a super regional.

I wouldn’t mind having to go through Eugene.

I’m happy with the selection but keep in mind OSU has lost in its own regional tournament before.
Bottom line is they still need to play well.

Yeah Beavs still need to get through a field of 4 teams to host a super regional.

Still its a huge advantage having a path to the CWS that goes entirely through Corvallis.

Luke Heimlich... he wasn't picked in the MLB draft in 2018 - played in Mexico the next year then retired a year or two later.

I clicked on that and read it…..(Not sure why, I don’t care about baseball and I’m simply here to troll the Beav fans) and that article didn’t really give a reason as to why. Did I miss it?

Thought the Beavs left Segura in way too long in the first. After the 2nd hit batter and a walk it was obvious he had zero control. 2 runs were Segura fault but run 3 was Beavs coaches fault.

Great hit and then 2 run homer to get the game within a run.
