Huge advantage if they can get the 2nd game Sunday. Then two chances to get into the final plus opponents have to use up pitchers playing an extra game.

I know Beavs have came through losers bracket - but that's much easier when your at home in the regionals and your not against the top 8 teams in the country

Just don’t have it today. Beavs didn’t get a great outing from their starter and they made a couple errors. Then some of the hits just didn’t pan out.
tough game and Coastal pretty much played flawless ball today.

They just used their ace though. So at this level you never know.

Here's another big thing to watch. This beavers baseball team is full of Freshman and Sophomores in their pitching corp and Throughout the rest of the team. Obviously they are losing Aiva but this team pretty much comes back next year.

Pete Thamel of ESPN saying Texas State is the heavy favorites to be the 8th member. That there is a deadline of July 1st since their exit fees double from 5 to 10 million.

Wow super exciting, news should drop in the next few weeks.

I'm also reading chatter about UTSA joining. Maybe they would soon or maybe they would a little later. But that would help the Pac a ton having two Texas schools. Maybe they'd scheduled those road games together as the schools are less than an hour apart. They already have a nice rivalry with each other too.

Not sure when Cal/Stanford can renegotiate - but speculation they'll consider rejoining when able to.

Really remarkable the Pac could be where it is today after how horrific and depressing the outlook was ~18 months ago.
