Derrick Williams is Blake Griffin-lite.

Yeah, Rubio's a baller.
Minnesota is never going to improve, though, until they figure out that Kevin Love isn't a franchise player, and put him alongside somebody who is one. Why in the world did they draft Derrick Williams? The guy hardly plays, yet he's shooting 52% and has a PER of 14 in a very limited role.
25 and 15 with a 28.5 PER at just 23 years old isn't a franchise player? If, Nene and Marc Gasol can get max money, so will Love.
Its a young team, maybe youngest in the league. Put another star caliber player next Love, along with Rubio and thats a very good team.
He doesn't need a star he really needs a defensive anchor like Ibaka.
They also have to figure out where Williams should play.
Kevin Love is purely a PF but that's also Williams best position. Do you go forward with playing one of them out of position?
Kenneth Faried with 4 BLKS in less than 10 minutes of play, including a nasty rejection of an Outlaw attempted dunk.
BNM
Curry with yet another ankle sprain. Either they don't know how to tape ankles properly down in Oakland, or we have another Grant Hill situation here.

As for Williams I agree. He's a major talent, they need to get some talent for Beasley and allow Williams to blossom at the 3.
A franchise player on a winning team. SAR was a franchise player on a terrible team.
The worst thing about the miami/atlanta game was that we missed THE ENTIRE FIRST HALF of the BLAZERS GAME! Other than that great game
I didn't. The joy of internet streams...
