So if I think LBJ is better than Nic Batum, I'm not a Blazers fan? GTFO

Your a broken record lately, PapaG. It's past time to cut some fresh bait.

Go Blazers

Well that's just a silly comparison.

However, if you were to consistently praise Kevin Love and bash LMA on a Blazer board, though, I'd certainly question your motives. I hate Kevin Love because I think he's only about him, and not his teammates, and I hate the Timberwolves because they're a division rival.

If that's too much for you, sorry, I guess.

Only too much because it's over and over and over and over and.....

Go Blazers

Aldridge didn't look so tough when Love abused his ass on the court the 2 previous blowouts.

the only times love has abused la was the two games this year that the refs put la into foul trouble on bs calls so la couldnt really play like he usually can because he had two fouls in the first five minutes of both games and three by half and four by the fourth. the refs let Love get away with murder those games.
one other thing they dont have love gaurd la for extended periods because he cant while la wants to gaurd love and does a good job of it. most of loves points come from transition threes and put backs when la is in the game.

I'm not a Blazer fan. Fuck you caught me.

You've ruined my internet facade. What shall I do now?

:deadhorse:
lather rinse repeat in this thread.
why not just sticky a mick vs. papag thread on top, and they can go back and forth at eachother, and the rest of us don't have to see it.

Yeah come on people let's not worry about "is he trolling or not trolling?". As long as we have intelligent discussion that's all that matters. ;)

A player I lobbied for a few years ago is starting to develop into a legit NBA big.

Kevin Seraphin (6'9" | 280 lb. C) - last 10 games:

16.2 PPG
7.7 RPG
2.1 BPG

He has a good feel for the game and looks like he could be a legit post threat. His shotblocking is also very solid.

I think I like his potential over both Nene and McGee.

He played a big role in the Wizards defeat of the Bulls last night. He is good.

Speaking of GSW, a local columnist says they may be Lamar Odom's next stop. I know, the Warriors always thing they will get every hot free agent, trade and draft pick and never do, but in this case it turns out one of the W's assistant coaches was best man at Odom's wedding. Not sure if that would be a factor.

Funnily enough, when Odom went to Dallas, I believe (if memory serves) the very same columnist said that when a Kardashian walks in the front door, class walks out the back. True that. Bottom line, if the Warriors really want/get Odom, he will join a line of GSW soap operas from Joe Barry Carroll to Webber v. Nelson to Sprewell v. Carlesimo.

From what I've heard GS has no real advantage, they would just be an interested party in bringing him in. Like crandc said, one of the coaches is very tight with him, and Bob Myers (assistant GM) is a former agent who was very tight with a lot of players and is constantly trying to get them to GS. Word is the W's would have made a bid for Brandon Roy if he was amnestied, and he was behind getting J. Tyler and Bogut as well. I think GS also likes their odds of keeping him happy/sane because if neither LA team can bring him in then GSW is one of the next closest teams, and I think they trust Marc Jackson with managing delicate personalities.

As a GS fan, its hard to say no to Odom since we've historically been deprived of talented bigs and good rebounders. Rumor is he'd start at SF but IMO hes too slow to be playing there for extended periods at this point. Couldn't argue with him backing up the 3/4, but we also really need more slashers at that position and preferably guys who defend well.

Why wouldn't he return to L.A.?

Being away from his family and the Kardashian clan, wasn't this the root of his depression?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) The frustration of losing has started to boil over for the NBA-worst Charlotte Bobcats.

A Bobcats executive confirmed there was an altercation Sunday night in the team locker room between coach Paul Silas and forward Tyrus Thomas.

The incident, first reported by Yahoo!, took place after Charlotte's 94-82 loss to the Boston Celtics. It was confirmed by President of Basketball Operations Rod Higgins.

According to the report, Silas took exception to Thomas for fraternizing with some Celtics players and yelled at him after the game. Shouting ensued and the 68-year-old Silas shoved Thomas toward his locker stall and the two were separated.

Cho may know what he is doing, but what the Blazers are going through is paniful enough (Blazers are irrelevant to the NBA right now) . . . I can't imagine being a Bobcat fan. I would seriously consider finding another team to follow.

That expansion to Charlotte was a huge mistake.

Cho's philosophy is to take a few steps back to take three steps forward.

Only they've moonwalked off the face of the freaking earth. One of the worst teams in the history of the NBA.

I like Silas. Tough as nails. I can picture him head-butting Thomas.

Neither can Bobcat "fans" (wherever they are on some mystical plane next door to unicorns and the tooth fairy)

Blake Griffin was flagrant fouled again by Robin Lopez.

Watching the replays, including the Andre Miller train of pain foul, Blake Griffin manages to flop in mid-air.

He's the master of all floppers.

Faried is so disruptive.

It was clear on draft day and especially clear now but I don't see how Nolan Smith is anywhere near the prospect Faried is.

Chad. Fucking. Buchanan.

That's Kevin Love.

Well, he is from Portland -- the hipster capital (per capita) of the U.S.

Right now it's very douchtastic. He needs to wax it up and go with the Val Kilmer/Doc Holliday look. Go all-out hipster:
