We were forced to to play a lineup of Aminu, Turner, and Vonleh for what felt like eight straight minutes. The Warriors just dared them to do something, and they didn't. Stotts not calling a timeout didn't help.

Pretty disappointing that Nurk didn't close the game. The Blazers were a different team with him on the floor. I genuinely think the Blazers take this game if he had finished.

Im not convinced we do with him in, but for fucks sake if youre gonna let him play the game let him finish. There is no point not to. you play to win the fucking game, especially in playoffs.

This has been like the worst of both worlds. We don't get a lottery pick, and we don't really get to see how we fare against GS at full strength. We'd have had a decent chance to win game 1 and 3 with a healthy Nurkic. But of course, GS is simply at another level. Our bozo supporting cast just isn't good enough.

Actually I think the reason Meyers is not as good as he should be is the same reason the Blazers are not nearly as good as they should be.

Why is that old wise one

I know Crabbe was balls bad tonight, but I'd rather see another shooter (if inconsistent at best) start for us in game 4 than Turner. Let Turner control the bench unit and see if Dame and CJ can kick it out to Crabbe for some open jumpers and see if he makes it. Somethings gotta change. I mean, we still won't win regardless, but may as well try it out. I can't stomach seeing Dame and CJ play with a bunch of players who shoot bricks on wide open shots.

We outrebounded them by 10. Problem was our turnovers especially the FOUR by McCollum. He was a mess with the ball in the 4th quarter.

How many minutes was Nurk suppose to play? I bet they hit the target dead on.

If they start McCaw again, I say let Pat start.

Crabbe wasn't bad. The team just didn't create offense for him. If we get him shots, he'll make them.

I think our game plan was good tonight. We just don't have the ability to take it to another level when golden state steps up the defensive pressure and starts firing on all cylinders.

I won't disagree with that, but it is pretty to easy to play good defense on the Blazers. Ramp up the focus on Dame and CJ and make them kick it out to one of our non shooters who are wide open, which they were a lot. Defending us really isnt hard to do.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but.....

Meh, shouldn't have played him. Even if we had won, it wouldn't have been worth it because we wont beat the Warriors.

This team is a fucking chore to watch when Nurk is on the bench. Like a dog trying to swim upstream.

I was excited because Nurk covers SO many holes but he really just hides them. We're still stuck with this roster and a system that doesn't optimize their play.
