LA shooting 34% from the field this series....and he's been guarded one on on by Zach fucking Randolph

I still like the idea of CJ and Meyers coming off the bench, albeit coming in more quickly and seeing more regular minutes. CJ is turning into a player that can invent points like Mo Williams, and I'm just not comfortable with rushing Meyers at this point and maybe rattling him, especially on the road in Memphis. Go with the usual starting five, give the crowd a chance to settle down, hope you weather that with the starters (I think we will) and then bring in the two young guys in roles with which they are comfortable.

Good points. Maybe at 4 minutes in or when we fall behind 8, whichever comes first?

If we can keep this team mostly together, and pull a Cauley-Stein out of the draft..... Wow!

What do I do with this?

The "Believe Memphis" slogan came about in 2011. The Grizzlies had never won a playoff game. They were swept three times in a row. Yet, the Grizzlies made history for being the second team ever to win a series as the #8 seed that year. After they won that series, they took OKC to 7 games. Due to it's competitiveness, it became one of the classic series in NBA history.

"Believe Memphis" was born when the Grizzlies had a miraculous comeback during a game they were expected to lose, and came back and won. During a playoffs where they made history.

I've seen your posts on this board. That slogan came about in a year the Grizzlies defined themselves, overcame the odds and history. Something your team is trying to do this year - being the first team to overcome a 0-3 deficit.

Go ahead. Do whatever you want to that towel. But realize when you do, you are desecrating everything that slogan stands for whether the Memphis name is on it or not.

Wrong. 1994 Nuggets won as 8 seed. 1999 Knicks won as 8 seed. 2007 Warriors won as 8 seed.

That makes the Grizzlies FOURTH. Not 2nd.

Hes also guarding Randolph who hasn't shot much better.
LA's played good one on one defense, but his offense has been atrocious. I just don't understand all the praise this guy gets. It's like he could go out and shoot 1-100 and some people still wouldn't want to criticize him.
