Duncan's "moving screens", if that's what you want to call them, aren't doing you guys in. Parker scored maybe 3 times off of them. It's you garbage defense.

The refs are giving the Spurs 5ft of space and not pressuring the ball

The refs are hitting their shots

The refs are giving up offensive rebounds

It has been said before but sometimes you need to get a tech or two. Or someone needs to get fined. It is simply not ok to just accept this.

how many offensive rebs and points off turnovers have we given up - way too fukkin much! and SA is not at all a good offensive rebounding team, is that on the refs?

and how does an "old team" run the break so much better than we do?

Yup. I genuinely like Terry, but if he's going to be our head coach going forward they MUST sign a defensive assistant.

You guys are 29th in paint scoring for a reason. You don't have any above average finishers on the wing besides Batum I believe.

Despite the refs allowing the Spurs to hack us on defense, we've scored 51 at the half. That's not a bad number by any means. If we got a few more calls we might have scored 58-62ish. Great.

That doesn't change the fact that the we allowed the Spurs to score 70! In one half! 41 points in the second quarter?! They should be embarrassed.

Bro, our defense is shit I know, but our offense is predicated on establishing the post. If you can take that away by fouling, you can stay with your shooters. Aldridge can't gain advantage when he's being pushed, hacked and fouled.

Spurs can continue to single coverage because they can get away with that shit.

We would still be losing, but at least it would be more respectable

Bingo. Sure, a couple of them were moving screens - but that's NOT why we're losing.

The Spurs don't double team any post player much only throwing it in on occasion. Not doubling down low allows them to be up on shooters better. Not getting called when fouling opponents finishing at the rim makes this approach very effective.

The thing that gets me is that no fucking adjustments were made. What, they played Will the Thrill for a 3-4 minute stretch? COME ON, START COACHING TERRY!

I expected to lose this game and win the next two in portland but I didn't expect to loes it like we are. I'm still in shock of just how bad we have looked not just 1 game but two.

Part of me wishes San Antonio wins the championship and Duncan decides to retire. Pop retires with him.....only to pull a 180 a month later and become the Blazers head coach....
