Who is the better coach?

Doris knows basketball, but she has that irritating voice. nothing against her, but drives me crazy. Hubbie Brown is great, always talks about basketball plays and what coaches do, adjustments etc. You can actually learn something.

TNT on the other hand has terrible announcers, McHale, Webber, Miller, just terrible.

Yeah i forgot about Hubie. He is pretty good.

Eh - the last two games I saw her call for us she couldn't NOT talk about the other team. I don't even remember who we were playing, but we were winning (and won) and she would just go on and on about [opposition] and then when we would do something positive it was crickets until the opposing team did something again. She was even praising their missed shots while Dame was taking people to school.

But yes, Reggie is probably the worst. McHale sucks at everything other than playing in the 80s. I don't have many memories of Webber. Give me the VanGundys! And I always like Walton, even when he's a fool. Having Barkley do color for games would be interesting, but he's got too sweet a gig to do that.

I will fight you. I fucking love Doris. She is at the top of my list for nationally televised games. Just straight basketball knowledge.

The playoffs have been erratic. There is a lack of consistency primarily due to fg&3pt %.
Sixers, Bucks & Blazers all win game two and take HCA.
I think its easier now to win away from home because the game is so swayed by fg%.

Huh?

Hes coaching better than ever. If thats going to be a regular thing, then hes improved. I wanted him fired because of the things he refused to do that he's doing now. I wanted him fired because he didnt properly prepare for things hes properly prepard for this year. After a very poor Game 1, he made the most adjustments I've ever seen him make defensively.

If he regresses back to how he was before, we'll be back to square one. If not, then there wont be the same reactions from people like me.
 
Maybe deserves its own thread, but Jason Kidd just inducted into Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame and was asked about all the great Oakland point guards. Said Dame best of all of them. Said no one really paying attention to the Blazers but he thinks they can win the title.

I'm soooo torn now. It's like you are inviting me to like Jason Kidd and I'm not sure how to feel about that.

My thoughts exactly. I have no respect for him as a human being and abuser of women. I hope his basketball knowledge is better than his soul.

I agree with you on Doris, Knowledgeable but irritating voice. Don't hate her or enjoy her. (But I like her interviews)

As For Hubie Brown, yes he is also knowledgeable but IMO over talks. I don't need to learn something on every play. Yes I am embellishing a little but if he could just analyze the plays in less words. And maybe not be so quick to back the refs on everything. I mean for crying out loud the guy is 86 years old. He can't possibly see everything.
