THIS!

When your backcourt struggle sto keep people in front of them, above average wing defenders are not going to fix the issues.

Which is why I have advocated for 4 years now that despite how good they are offensively, specifically at certain things, they do not work overall as a backcourt that will be a legit contender. It hasn't changed in that time....thinking it magically will as they are going into ages 30-31 is a pipedream.

Not used correctly meaing use DJJ like Miami did in the playoffs and Boston used Kanter in the playoffs? We're starting a guy that Miami thought was unplayable.

LMFAO I love your new talking points.

Pretty much every major national publication thinks the Blazers had the best off-season. Now you're suggesting it was terrible as a way to take the heat off the coach.

Sure thing. We appreciate your dishonesty and boot licking.

But i thought Giles was heading the the HALL of FAME!!!!

Do you believe the national publications that say Stotts is a good coach or only the off-season rankings?

I've said this is a 42-43 win roster that should be a 1st/2nd round exit, I'm still there.

Here we go with the personnel excuses, oh boy.

What did I say that was inaccurate? Did Miami and Boston think DJJ and Kanter were dependable rotation players in the playoffs?

Boston had multiple players at Kanters level. When Kanter did play, he balled out. Boston electing to play RWIII isnt an indictment on Kanter.

Miami's was very deep and had multiple, extremely talented players getting few or jk minutes. Not an indictment on Jones.

42 win team? Hahaha these Stotts apologists will ALWAYS blame the personnel. ALWAYS.

Porter Jr is a superstar man. I told ya that last year. Denver got lucky with him.. fucking bastards

Agreed... those teams had better options, we don't. Miami had better options on thier bench than we have to start. We're on the same page.

Ouch. That hurt. Nearly a seventy point half. Looks like an all star game out there for Denver.

Dame just chased Porter Jr.....and then didn't put his hands up on D to even try and contest the shot. Sadly, it's those little things that speak volumes about coaching and accountability.

The defense looks bad, but its not because of Stotts at all. I love what Stotts is trying to do. Players just aren't in sync yet and theyre rotating slow and overhelping. The execution isnt there, and that's too be expected with a new philosophy in the preseason.

Now if that doesnt improve over half the season, then you could blame Stotts because good coaching should help increase proper execution and fix some of those issues. However, there will be some growing pains, and that's okay.

Well this sucks.
Nuggets pretty much showing the Blazers are nowhere near being a contender this year.
Quite a bit different than playing the Kings huh?
Defense was miserable against Sac as well outside of some stretches in the second half last game

Well want can you say about our defense how many layins by them moving without the ball that's impressive. But honestly we got one rim protector on this team right that's Nurk. Positive side we had only 8 turnovers that half. But only 11 assist to there 22 assist and they control the boards.
