I predict Meyers will not shoot another 3 tonight. He doesn't want to ruin his perfect 5 for 5 from downtown stat line.

Haha. And just as I say that, he shoots one and misses it.

Meyer's plays d like he's 6ft tall. Why?

I thought I read that he was a guard in his early high school career. But then he had a growth spurt and quickly became a 7-footer. So maybe his mind hasn't caught up to his body yet.

The play by play guy was like 2 plays behind the action the entire time. And those last names......

I'm pretty sure he was calling the game from his assisted living facility while watching the game on an old black and white t.v. on a 1 minute tape delay.

ET looks like a different player so far this year. So much more sure of himself. Taking advantages of mismatches, making the right reads. Reflecting in on his plus minus
Yeah. He's looking in control out there. It's nice to see. And Moe keeps going to his new post game.

ok

im glad meyers hit some 3's in preseason.

but when he said he was going to be new and improved i kind of expected less of the old shit, even if it is at a better clip . (in one game, in preseason)

tbh im worried overall what this will do for his need to focus on other areas and if this reverted him to loving the 3 all over again and being a 7 foot streaky SG who struggles to retain form.

there was next to no indications that anything has really changed in the off-season, but if he can hit like that cool, but he's only ever going to be situational use

Yeah he looked good tonight. Attacked the basket without forcing anything. When he slows it down he plays runs the team much better. And the post up on the baseline is money.
He also does the best job on the team of feeding the post.

I think Collins hold is own for his 1st start. Didn't shoot from the field very good but still was agressive where got 8 free throw attempts. Collected 5 boards but that part of the game he will do better when he gets stronger. Layman starting to shoot a lot better and seems like Pat coming to take Crabbe old place. Leonard shot the ball well collect 8 boards. Swanigan is starting to be over taken by Collins for a rotation spot. Swanigan still rebounding good but his shot is starting to not falling for him.

This might've been mentioned but did anyone catch Layman pull a dirk on Jackson? The fuck was that he has to be the biggest tease on the team.

Yeah I like it when Moe posts up under, or right at the basket. Quick and easy.
But not as much when he has to back his man down with the dribble. Trying to post up Bledsoe tonight is a good example of why it won't work.

Loved it! If he can master that shot.......

I get that morrow sucks defensively but the dude doesn't even try. I saw him literally give up after getting screened tonight and it has also happened every other game hes been in. Add to his inability to actually do anything offensively except catch and shoot, and his age, no thanks.
