Meyers was alright tonight. He did some good things, but still had his standard awkward moments. Watching him play basketball is kind of like watching 2007 era Britney Spears. You just know something untoward is going to happen at some point. Leave Meyers Alone!!!

That's not good. The league don't like that.

Man, i hope they don't suspend him a game for that. Those usually aren't served until regular season.

I would like to point out one thing about Collins. He is currently 19 years old and wasn't a starter on his college team. Just want to throw that out there.
So why the fuck would we move up to get him, or we need to be patient......again?

Didn't get to watch this game, but it doesn't look like Collins played well, and Meyers did. Wonder what Stotts is thinking in terms of who plays.

Collins didn't shoot well but he was agressive enough to get to the line. Plus he a decent job on There starting power foward.

I love that Meyers had one of his best games in forever, and was still a -2

Yeah but that was because of the 4th when the 3rd team gave up 43 again. He played ok last night with the regulars. I don't like him playing out on the perimeter, but gotta give credit where credit is due......he was hot from out there. His 4th 3 was from at least 26 feet.

As usual he was ineffective against smaller players attacking the basket, but he was hardly the only one. I think we all focus on Meyers when on D, but last night I was focused on watching Harkless trying to cover the rookie Jackson. And I was not impressed. We need him to step it up in the regular season. At least he won't be surprised by him on opening nights since we have already played them twice.

+/- is a meaningless stat. Just having fun with it

Great job New Meyers! You had one of your biannual good games against the right opponent. Perfect timing. You may not have much feel for the game on the micro level, but you seem to have mastered it on the macro level.

Neil: quick, trade him for Jared Dudley before we play PHO again next week and Meyers reverts to Old Meyers.

BNM

Leonard had a really good game last night. He had a DNPCD the game before, and had 10 boards and 2 assists in 10:45 the game before that.

If he's not scoring, then rebounding and getting assists isn't a bad thing to bring.

I hope it's a trend - that he's having better and better games as we play 'em.

Seems like Meyers is useful to have on the team. Only could hear part of the game, radio being what it is and the Blazers Radio not being what it was.
Wheels made him sound pretty good!

Too many times during the little I did watch the game, Meyer's was under the basket when a shot went up, he was standing there next to Len with his hands down and Len is grabing a rebound or a tip in. Zero effort whatsoever! I couldn't believe it. Shooting a three is only a small piece of the game Meyer's, you have to try! At least Zach would look for his man and try to block him out. Somethings can't be taught.
