GO STAMPEDE!

Alright. The game is about to start! Where's jlprk? Did he oversleep again?

CJ Leslie is doubtful tonight and tomorrow night after an ankle sprain from last game.

Leslie (our PF, sprained ankle, Lazare will start instead, his first start) and Gaines (their PG), both pictured above, will not play. We're still missing Lauderdale, our starting C. The Tinyhorns added a couple of big men with NBA experience, Gladness, who'd been out injured, and another big, Willy Reed, was just assigned them yesterday by Sacramento.

The Horns and Stampede are the only teams who have neither cinched a playoff spot, nor been eliminated. So it's playoff intensity. They have a slightly better record. In other words, we are fucked. Maybe Crabbe will be a hero.

Daeqan Jones fouls Crabbe on the arm, who makes 1 for 2 FT.

Crabbe rebounds--he's tall here--dribbles down, and on his way to a basket, a teammate fouls someone. Crabbe misses a 3, later fouls. Watch out for fouls. We are down 11-4.

Crabbe gets his 2nd foul trying to block on the run like Batum. Watch the fouls. Crabbe drives on Gladness from the corner, makes it.

Down 23-12. Our only points are slow drives to the hoop, palming in dunks. Crabbe and others have succeeded on the Littlehorns that way. Their center has his hand on the shooter's hand but isn't stopping it.

With 2 fouls he is much less active. In all this time all he did was to miss one long one. He took his time, but it went in and out. He's playing pretty loosely. 35-16. This is what happens when a player is sent down at the intense end of season. He doesn't fit in. He's about on the Armon Johnson level in invisibility on the Stampede.

End of 1st quarter. 35-18. FG% them 67, us 35.

Crabbe dribbles to the hoop, is blocked as he goes up, recovers and grabs the loose ball and in one motion, continues going up with it, misses. Immediately turns and says something to the ref, technical foul. He is 2-4 FG.

Later gets an opponent to foul him, colorman praising his move but I was typing the above and missed it. 42-18.

Crabbe to Murphy, who can't handle it. Rebounds, hard outlet pass with authority. Makes a contested layup! He's more emotional now. This is what he needs. 43-22. Crabbe for 3!!

Misses a contested layup in traffic, complains to ref, needs to get down there, Horns score. Crabbe plays much better when angry or embarrassed. Crabbe assists Machado! 47-30.

Crabbe's been resting. He's tied for Stampede leading scorer. Of course it's only 54-42. I like Mo Charlo of Reno. He's a C in this league but has good F skills, shooting, stealing, rebounding. Rebounds us 14, them 24. We've cut 15 off the lead. 1 minute left, 57-45.

Halftime 57-47. We have life after all. Stampede were on the stretcher there for awhile. Remember how red-faced Meyers Leonard used to be too emotional? The assistants got him to be more even-minded. Well, Crabbe is the opposite. Too airy. Needs to get grounded, get his feet in the mud. Needs to have his pride insulted. Hey Wesley, bop him in the head. Machado leads us with 14. 2nd is Crabbe 7, taking it to the basket tonight instead of long shots like the last game when he shot 6-20. We had 7 steals in the 2nd quarter.

Staying closer to the hoop now, playing like a forward. Gets a loose ball. Stay out of the corner.

Stupid message board logged me out and while logging on I heard but didn't see him do something exciting. They were saying his name. Time out 72-65. 3 minutes left in 3rd.

Hey all! Big win in the windy city tonight! How's Crabbe cakes doing tonight? Big bounce back?

Crabbe a very smooth 3, catch and shoot. Wide open. Beautiful. 77-70.

Hope he's got his MOJO working! We're going to need him back if we keep blowing out teams like Chicago

turned on the youtube game just in time to see the aerobics workout

79-72 end of 3rd. Hey dude. Did we beat the Bulls? I'll look...

By 17! Lopez, Mo, and Robinson! The latter probably in garbage time.

We creamed the Bulls, up 22 most of the second half until Leonard checked in..great defense all night

Great game by the bench tonight, Barton Mo and TRob were all impact players. Good team win

Crabbe gets a rebound, inactive on offense for a long time, energetic on defense. 10 minutes left, 86-74.

Lopez looks tops in the box score other than what's his name, the PF Utah stole from Cleveland.

Crabbe out only the 2nd time this game. The other time was about 4 minutes in the 2nd. His box score will look much better than last game when he was half-asleep. This game he sucked when he camped out in the corner, but that was for only about a fourth of his minutes. 89-76.

Lopez schooled Noah tonight. Starters all played well. Best defensive game I've seen from LA, he didn't look to score but had a lot of boards and blocks and altered shots.
