I see some similarities between Lin and Mo. Both play hard and out of control and make plays, but both make bonehead plays that hurt the team.

Did you get to see any replay? I never saw them show it again and I can only go off what I saw for a split second.

What's the score? Someone came to deliver the reptile cage and I missed most the 2nd quarter

Dame is really the only player that brought a superstar level of play in all five games.

For a while, both the Blazers and refs looked like they had slipped on Houston jerseys and handed Houston a 14ish point lead, but then the Blazers woke up and cut it to 8 by halftime.

What I've noticed about the NBA is that they usually don't get good replay of bad calls. It probably was a foul based upon that logic.

As bad as the refs have been, we take care of the rock and the game would, at least, be tied.

I just watched it again. I'm not a ref so I will not second guess Dviss' interpretation of the rule. However, Asik did not go "straight up". He essentially followed Dame laterally and IMO Asik initiated the contact. Dame was trying to go by him, Asik sort of 'shadowed' him laterally and made contact with the body, sending Dame to the floor.

That said, it really wasn't a terrible non call and contact like that happens many times a game. But in that situation, I think it should have been called. After the horror I just witnessed, I'm not going to lose too much sleep over that one.

For national telecasts you're absolutely right. Only on local broadcasts will you see a replay.

That's how I remembered it. It seemed like Dame was trying to cut through the key and Asik ran into him.

There's simply no reason we have to dig ourselves this kind of hole. Let's hope we play the second half with the same energy with which we ended the first.

If Asik jumped toward Dame in any way that makes him an "Illegal Defender". All contact caused by an Illegal Defender is a foul.

It's all ebb and flow and not where you start but where you finish. We're clearly the better team. The Rockets make spurts but they can't sustain. They want us to give up but we don't,
