Not a bad looking game thread; pretty decent work here. It would be perfect (and much more realistic) if all of the photos of the Rockets players were sprawled out, flat on their backs.

Interesting. The line for Houston is -5.0 tonight. Our two lines were -2.5 and -3.0 at the Rose Garden. Not much respect for us out there.

We have to find a way to keep the Rockets from getting second opportunities. It was the key to our second half comeback in Game Four and I think will be critical tonight.

Yep. And it would be nice if we mixed up our pick and roll defense or found a way to make that play less effective for them. If we do, and it works, I'm totally making a "thanks for listening" thread.

Funny thing is, if the D-Leaguer comes back down to earth, Mo looks like a genius. The odds are better than the guy comes back to earth than to continue at this pace, so Mo is setting himself up to look like the man.

That was funny as all hell. And, as others have mentioned, it's not like what's-his-name can possibly shoot any better. So, might as well fuck with his head and put a little pressure on him. Put the rookie in the spotlight and see how he handles it. He came out of nowhere with zero expectations to be the hero in Game 3. Now, all of a sudden, he's getting interviewed multiple times, his coach teammates and the fans are counting on him, the Blazers' coaching staff has no doubt been watching film and looking for ways to take away his open looks, etc. It will be interesting to see how he responds tonight, with the pressure of facing elimination, in front of the hometown crowd.

Why not? It's made Daniels wonder what's going on, and making him asked about it more than once by the media. Make the D-Leaguer have the spotlight on him. The overreaction to this nothingburger on this board has been embarrassing, in a Soccer Mom way.

Beverley has tried the same sort of shit with Lillard. Lucky for the Blazers, Lillard is mentally strong, and doesn't let chippy things impact his play.
