I will say this, the Spurs will not let Dame get an open three. I don't think he's attempted a three yet.
 
Wow, Bellineli is finally hitting.... Blazers still got a shot though.
 
I see now that the spurs were just dicking around for the first six games of the playoffs. Apparently their regular season started Sunday.
 
STAY WITH YOUR MAN. Holy shit this isn't rocket science. The Spurs don't beat you 1v1, they beat you by making you cheat and then making you pay.
 
And some of you fools actually wanted the Spurs over the Mavs. smh
 
This reminds me of game one against the Rockets back in 2008-2009. They came out in our house and just stomped us. We weren't ready at all. I don't know what happened to us, but this is 100% mental.

Ahh, the young playoff team jitters. I was surprised I didn't see this at all in the Houston series, though it's not a surprise at all that it's coming against the most experienced team in the playoffs. I'm sure they will continue to work their way through it and get better, but this first game is likely lost.
 
For all the praise Stotts got in round 1, this team just wasn't fucking ready to play against the Spurs tonight.

Do you really think this has anything to do with the Spurs specifically? We're missing wide open layups. It could be the Jazz and we'd still be getting hammered right now with how we're playing.

Not really. The Spurs are playing great defense and executing like vets.

At the half:

I think Splitter is doing amazing against LMA.... I couldn't ask for more from him. I dont see this happening the entire series, let alone the next half of this game (although I hope it does).

Spurs are pretty much breaking down your guys defense with ball movement and P&R's.... If your team wants a chance, they will need to pack the paint against Parker and make the role players of the Spurs win this game taking jump shots and 3's.

Dallas woke the sleeping giant though, you guys are in trouble.
