This! It's just game one. We should be glad we aren't playing Dallas. Losing the first game at home would be tough to overcome.

That first round series sure was fun. The team looks shell-shocked. I don't expect them to win, but I hope they can show some fire in the second half.

I don't agree. I think the Spurs are playing great on offense, but I don't think it's their defense. Dude, we've missed at least six or seven point blank, wide open, uncontested layups.
 
I think the deficit is too big to save Game 1. I mean if we can get it down to 11 points by the 4th, we may have a chance but I don't think that's happening. We just have to hold composure, come out and try to execute.
 
Warned y'all about Splitter tbh. LA will end up with 20-25 points, but it won't be efficient. Haven't even had to put Green on Lillard yet either.

Early on they were playing excellent. Splitter was really on Aldridge and they really clogged up the lane to get easy turnovers. Blazers couldn't even get a good look at shots the first 4-5 minutes of the game.

They set an early pace and ran with it.

Stop hounding this point. Even if we made 5 more layups we'd still be down 16.

Spurs scored 65 points in that half. Count it. Sixty Five. Our "defense" has not showed up and on top of that we've allowed 8 offensive rebounds.
 
It's a 7 game series. If the Spurs shoot 63% from the field, and 71% from 3, for the rest of the playoffs, there isn't much you can do but crown them.

Game 2 will be a much different story. I expected the Spurs to win Game 1.

I'm hounding that point because great defensive teams don't give up that many layups. We are missing open looks.
 
One game. Only need to win 1 in SA to take the series. We aren't going to miss that many shots at the rim in the next one. Get some flow going in the second half and beat them Thursday.
