Re: Have you heard the audio of Roy's concerns?
I can agree with all points in this thread, and I wasn't trying to knock Miller for the comments he made about his playing time last season. In fact, I want to go on record that I was in full support for him being vocal about it. Regardless, I am just a little saddened by the insensitivity of the Blazer fans on a player that did put his body, desire and will for this franchise. I wish he would just get traded, maybe some team would take the risk, so he can work back into his old self.
This just stinks of the days Drexler was injured and the team gave the team to Cliff Robinson. Then Drexler went to Houston to win a title. In fact, Kersey, Porter and even Rider all left Portland and won a title with another team.
I think people looking outside in still thinks Roy has the ability to be great, but would they be willing to take the risk? It just hurts that the very same people that cheered him on when he was hitting all those clutch shots, making the all star team and being labeled a superstar are the very same fans that are yelling for him to get off the court now. I'm a bit too loyal I guess.
