That’s nice to hear. I had assumed CP3’s efficiency was much better than Scoot’s. I was sort of thinking about overall impact when comparing the two. Watching film on his passing ability has me real hopeful he can eventually process the game like CP3. Had CP3 been drafted in 2015, I think he would’ve averaged 20/10 easily given the amount of 3’s taken. Scoot’s shooting will be fine.I looked at CP3s college stats (not comparing the two, or shooting %s), but IF the Gleague is on par with college (some suggest it is, or even higher), CP3s #s aren't much different than Scoots.
I was more surprised at that than anything. Not saying its proof of anything.
Hopefully. I don’t have a doubt Scoot can be better than CP3 on offense. CP3 was also a perennial All-Defensive PG. I’m not sure if he will ever become that, but he has the size and athleticism to really be a bully on defense against other PGs.Better than CP3 and Booker. I hope.
No reason to trade Anferee for peanuts at this point. I hope the Blazers play a 3 guard rotation. There is plenty of time for all 3.
Yes, we need to be better defensively, but with Dame gone, we need also need a couple of elite shooters.
We have an HOF elite shooter top for a trade, however.there's no elite shooters on the Portland roster though. Ant isn't one

I can see some of these from Scoot as well
I really really really hope you're right.
If I had to guess, the debate will be between three groups:
- Told you this rebuilding process wasn't likely to work, we should've kept Dame
- It would've been worse had Dame stayed, I'm glad we made a move.
- Scoot/Sharpe are overpaid, but I really think our 2028 draft picks will be superstars!
