Which was the more favorable schedule for the Blazers to make the Playoffs?

I'm in the minority because I thought almost all the whistles were justified (not talking about the T's)

Portland's physical play took Memphis out of their offense for a good chunk of the game. Better some extra FT's than dunks and layups. Memphis got back in the game by forcing TO's and getting hot from the arc. Portland won the game in the stretch they valued the ball and got hot from the arc

I have made it a rule of mine to never complain about a Blazer win.

That was exactly what they needed IMO. They needed to be pushed and overcome in a tough game. I have been wanting to see "Fire" and "Intensity". We got a chance to see that in this game.

We watched them do some good things on defense for stretches. We also watched Dame struggle a bit stretching the floor. I think if he hits some shots that didn't go early this game changes quite a bit.

Obviously Nurk is a huge asset but they have got to get the PnR going better?

That game was much harder that it should have been. This game is a perfect example of why you simply do not leave a game in the refs hands. Win the Game outright and never let them have a chance to take it from you because they will.

50 free throws by a visiting team is unheard of. We might as well just accept the fact there is no home court advantage in this tournament.

If you are asking if I want our team to make the playoffs the answer is yes. Getting more playoff experience and a chance no matter how small to advance in the playoffs is worth going from the 14th pick to the 15th pick.

My god more experience? U kidding me right lol

I really wish I could feel better about this victory. I really do. We barely beat a team that has Tolliver and Grayson Allen in their regular rotation. We don't have the killer instinct to step on their neck when up by a dozen. When we get ahead in overtime, we lose our poise. Overall they played more physical and with more desire. Maybe we will do better going against some older teams. I hope so.

Sorry, but there should never be 50 free throws by one team in a game and 36 fouls called on a team. There were several ticky tack fouls as well. They even called too many fouls on Memphis but they were definitely the beneficiary of some quick whistles. The t's were a complete joke.

He made some shots and he sucks big time. Melo that is. CJ is great.

He made some shots? He made 70% of his shots along with 50% of his threes and 2 of those were huge for us while scoring 21 points as a 3/4th option. Give the man credit rather than just meh as I will take that kind of game all night long.

Nah bro. The Blazers had two starters with 6 fouls and one with 5. Literally gave them 38 points from Free Throws and that is missing 12 of them. The refs did not cost them the game but they sure did have an effect on it.

Nope, not kidding. Zach, Gary and Nas should all get minutes in the playoffs and that's something that we need them to get since they are the future of this team. It doesn't hurt team morale to make the playoffs either. So yeah, this team should definitely try to make the playoffs and make it as far as they can. Only losers give up.

I give him credit for winning the game. Doesn't change the facts.

A lot of accurate predictions pregame:
--CJ going to dominate in a playground atmosphere
--Melo's outside shooting will be valuable
--Blazers would need 125 points to win (in regulation) and shouldn't count on that

Dame said the injury was where his pelvic bone connects to his abs. Yikes! Good news he's a serious beast of a competitor. Hope the training staff can keep him going. They are the finest training staff in the history of this franchise so blessings to them. Fingers crossed.

This is a sad deal. Even if he were to leave and go to her he cannot actually go see her. This virus is dealing some tough blows to people.
Americans are banned from flying to Bosnia anyway. This is sad.

Nurk is Bosnian, so I don’t think that’s a problem. But, he wouldn’t likely be able to see her anyway so I hope he decides it’s not worth the risk. That said, family over basketball every time.

I think he's still banned from flying from America to Bosnia.
