IMO, the Blazer reality is the same it has been for years now. The faces have changed but Portland has a tough time winning games when Dame isn't playing at a really high level. That's the same roster weakness that has existed since the breakup of the Dame/Aldridge team.

To be fair, there are two players making almost 20 million combined sitting at home. But it's not like the other teams in the bubble are fully healthy either.

Zach needs to learn how to catch a fucking basketball

that might be a tough task depending on what the basketball is fucking. I mean, can you imagine trying to catch a basketball fucking a football? Or how about trying to catch a 3-way between a basketball, football, and croquet ball? Yeah, I know, pretty damn stupid, but I just spent nearly 3 hours watching the Blazers be stupid...it was contagious

I agree with him needing to build strength but that doesn't mean bulking up and I think it's pretty hard to build upper body strength with the injury that just cost him more than six months. That being said, I would trade him in a heartbeat for someone who we know will be able to contribute for the next four or five years.

I actually think Foster is pretty decent. But i will say, Damian Lillard, "2 freakin' FT attempts ALL GAME". Maybe the other 2 zebra stoolies were more responsible. Plus, every game we are out freethrow attempt by double digits. I see plenty of contact not being called for us, and plenty of fouls called on us.

As far as skills are concerned that trade would be great but I hate Draymond's personality/attitude and there just isn't any way to make that work with the cap unless they would take Ariza and send back Wiggins but I don't know if I want Wiggins either. Not a bad idea from you though.

this is the 5th season of the Dame/CJ back court. That's what Olshey wanted to do when Aldridge left and that's what he did. He built the team around that pairing; he's forced Stotts to play them, rely on them. He's never added a competent backup PG. He's just plugged in various players to augment the roster around that starting back court. IMO, that's the weakness of the Blazers and that's where the stagnation is

Olshey has made some great moves and some bad ones, but as long as everything is built around two small guards, there's going to be problems. But more than that is it's a team what has invested in two players, only one of whom is an all-star. That's not what wins championships

Harks defense was underappreciated. Ariza is very old and hoods d was not a strength befor tearin his achilles.

I don't like Green's personality either. He is the kind of guy you hate if he is not on your team. But, if we have to go to the darkside to win, we go to the darkside. Nice guys finish last.
