so tired of this shit. Injured players not only playing, but playing long minutes even when they suck.According to Dwight Jaynes, CJ has been playing with fracture in his lower back.

That sucks that he's in pain... bench him. If he wants to tough it out and it won't impact his future health, fine but bring him off the bench to play in spurts when the offense needs some punch but don't start the guy. He isn't the right guy to start when healthy so he definitely shouldn't be starting with that injury... just watch the games, it's totally obvious that he shouldn't be playing the minutes Stotts is playing him.
The thing is if you seat CJ for Zach, they are going to still not guard zach. No matter how bad CJ is shooting, they are not going to leave him alone. It was better but it was not the correct adjustment. Make no mistake about it Stotts' dogmatic loyalty and his stubborn overestimate of CJ is what almost cost us that game. I know CJ got those free throws and I am greatful but he was our worst player that got a minute tonight. With the exception of those free throws, every minute CJ played was bad for us... I don't like +/- but his -25 tonight was a great measure of what he did to us.
Yeah but the problem is that no matter how bad CJ is, he's going to keep shooting and not passing. He'll also keep playing the same "defense".The thing is if you seat CJ for Zach, they are going to still not guard zach. No matter how bad CJ is shooting, they are not going to leave him alone.
Right but Zach was hitting more shots than CJ today and he actually plays defense... so the obvious move, if you aren't being irrationally sentimental is to bring CJ off the bench, especially if he is playing through a fractured vertebrae. The thing is if you seat CJ for Zach, they are going to still not guard zach. No matter how bad CJ is shooting, they are not going to leave him alone.
Will certainly agree with that! Some of my friends my age won't like it though!Fair, as he did have an incredible season topped off by a Championship. But for a career, It's Dame, Not Clyde.
And he played 39 fukin minutes. Excuse my french! Or German or wherever the F it comes from.
I don't think he's been terrible, he's passing the ball well. But a motivated Whiteside is a better player. Just depends which Whiteside shows up. He certainly scares other team's players out of the paint a lot more than Nurkic. Is anyone going to say the obvious that nurk has been terrible? Besides first 2 games he is awful. He misses so much at rim. Whiteside needs to be our starter forget loyalty. As of now we be better off loosing cj. He is terrible. I radther play hezonja who hustles and defends
LOLi promised my wife i would not talk shit about CJ if he hit both of those FTs. I'm a man of my word.
Blazers should have no trouble beating brooklyn
ROFL !!I just finished texting all my friends about this game. Now I'll run outside and tell the neighbors before it gets dark.
Maybe the most hilarious post ever? At least for me.ROFL !!
Damian Lillard on line 60+Dame needs to score 60 for us to have a chance.
All the other teams play before us. If they all lose, we can play Adams/Simons/Hoard/Little/Wenyen 48 minutes and rest the stars. And we'll probably win lol.Yeah, whatever you saw was wrong. We win against he Nets and we get the 8th spot in the play-in no matter what but if we lose the Spurs, Memphis and Suns all can pass us with a win. We have to beat the Nets and we will.
He's seriously excited. I dig it.Maybe the most hilarious post ever? At least for me.
Unbelievable.Damian Lillard on line 60+
I think most of us are questioning Terry Stotts, not CJ McCollum.Blessings to CJ. Back problems are no BS. He's playing with guts cause he knows we need him. I got a feeling he will come up big in the near future. Gotta believe. As someone who was crippled by a back injury, and faced a long healing process over many years, to now, be physically able to play hoops, it takes a lot of work and faith to overcome. You may be able to question some of the shots, but don't question his commitment to his teammates, and the fans who follow them.
