He's racist now?
Sterling's douche-baggery wasn't limited to race.

Can you blame him?Heard from one of my sources that Neil pushed an old woman down a flight of stairs at Moda center trying to sign Chandler Parsons.

I was trying to give some credit to Oshley for building a team over the years but after watching the clippers game Im pissed. Fire him right away Dame and CJ isn't winning anything. This roster is constructed poorly.
This exactly! Im happy to see him fired but jeez some people here act like hes literally has done not one positive in his time here.
will be interesting for sure...I think the Vulcans/Jody will hire someone with close Seattle ties to co-market along with Root Sports.
Welcome to the dark side. We have cookies!
I am mainly talking about this Dickau part. There is a good chance what Dickau did behind Neil's back did piss him off, and he fired back at Dickau in a anger tone. That's normal, I didn't see one person mention that Dickau might actually had every right to get chewed out by Neil. And also it was reply to some saying, that the Dickau story was brutal and yada yada. It wasn't that bad at all.Isolated incidents can happen yes. Probably has happened to anyone, but if you raise your voice to a lot of people on consistent basis then yes you are a bully.
Not for all the cookies in the world.Haha and have a seat next to me
Got the same treatment but prob worse from Pritchard at Subway in Tualatin. I had my three boys with me, I said hi & the boys said Rip City and he didnt respond at all just looked us off.NeO story: Sellwood Starbucks one early weekday morning. Said hey Neil, looks up from his BlackBerry (years ago), think its really cool you brought in Maccabi Haifa for a game. Gives a half smile like why the F are you talking to me. I'm out.
To the people defending Olshey.....why?
I mean, I'd be a bit more sympathetic if he had targeted and drafted Giannis, or Adebayo, or Mitchell, or trade for PG at some point.
But there is like....no results from his tenure here. I agree being an asshole is not necessarily damning, but what is keeping you guys attached to him?
I'm both surprised and not surprised that Neil hasn't gotten ahead of this and resigned.
that could/would probably be negotiatedWouldn't he lose some of his contract if he resigned?
Neil has never built a balanced starting unit as good as the one he basically inherited.
Dame
Wes
Nic
LMA
Rolo
That lineup had good defense. Good outside shooting. Length. Rebounding. Grit. This was the team that Stotts was hired to coach. In fairness, Wes has never been the same player since his injury, and LMA bailed, but Neil has done an absolutely horrible job getting back to this balance.
His absurd marriage to CJ and his inability to acquire a second star has prevented this team from taking the next step.

Where is Marshall Glickman?
How about this. Dame demanded help over the summer.
Now he's pissed. He knows the situation and has given the team a mandate to get rid of Olshey.
Dame is firing Olshey.

I'm down. As GM, not president though.Like Trader Bob?
I thought it was 1.4 billionIf Dame wanted him gone, they would've just canned his ass. The team is worth 2+ billion, they can afford to pay off the remaining bit of his contract IF it pisses off the best player to ever play for the team (esp if he wants to stay).
