One of the 8% was the Mavericks who lost Game three but won the series. Against Miami. So Miami knows its possible. Except Dallas was at home for Games 4 and 5. Miami isn't.When the NBA Finals are tied 1-1, the Game 3 winner went on to win the championship 92% of the time.

That never happened. By the way, this season, we gave a record beating to the Spurs in their building.
OK...... remember the laugher when Boston scored 148 points against the Lakers, were up by over 40, ended up winning by 34 and ....lost the series?
Better?
This drubbing is worse. Were talking about records being broken. Do you still like the Heat in 5?
Yes. That happened. But now what you said before. I don't get why people bring that up every time there's a blowout though. That happened once. Usually, when you get smoked, you get smoked.
It's not like they needed those threes to win a close game. They shot 50% from 3. If they only shot 20% they still win.I hope to hell that SA finishes them off in 5. But when a team kills you by making a record breaking amount of 3's, it doesn't impress me as much. Because you know that won't happen again. I still think Miami pulls out a win in Texas, then will end up winning game 6 too. And then it will be a very interesting game 7.
On ESPN.com it said that San Antonio hasn't hosted a finals game since 1997... I know they've been champions since, so how does that work? Did I miss something?
Since you saw it on ESPN.com, do you have a link?

The previous NBA Finals record for a team was 14 3-pointers, held by three teams. ... Miami's first victory in San Antonio came on Dec. 23, 1996, in its 11th try. David Robinson broke his left foot in the second quarter of the Heat's 90-79 victory, missed the rest of the season, and the Spurs fell into the lottery, which they ended up winning so they could take Duncan with the No. 1 pick in the 1997 draft
If Miami doesn't come back to win the series, would LeBron have the worst Finals winning percentage of any of the players widely considered for greatest ever honors? Series, not wins. Losing 3 out of 4 times doesn't look so hot.
Weren't there only like 8 teams total in the NBA during the Celtics 'dynasty'? Not impressed. Now there are 29 teams to wade through year after year to get to a championship.Good call, any of the greats that faced that Celtics dynasty would have a lousy winning percentage.
Today in assholery, a bunch of racist tweets directed against the cute Hispanic-American boy who sang the National Anthem.
Pathetic.

Last night was just the 2nd time in 95 games this year LeBron had fewer points than FGA. (Jan. 10, 92-90 loss in Portland, 15 pts on 6-16)

So, as a fan, sometimes to see LeBron not take over, I'm kind of like, 'Come on, let's do it.' His pops went to jail with my older brother. My brother spent 10 years in jail, they were locked up together. I'm a fan of LeBron, so I always want to see him do well and sometimes I'm like, 'Step it up! Start playing
Anyone see this article? LeBron's dad was in jail the same time as MWP's brother?
