Star Trek (2009) has 95% with an average rating of 8.2/10 and Force Awakens is now at 94% (must have gotten a rotten review in the last couple hours) with an average rating of 8.2/10. Into Darkness, which I didn't really think was that great, even has an 87% on RT so I'm actually not surprised Force Awakens is doing this well.

I just got back from seeing it, opened at midnight here last night, so 16hrs ago, i went to a midday session.

It was fucking AMAZING.

JJ Abrams should make any and all movies even remotely close to being in the ballpark of SW, he 100% gets it.

The new cast was really solid, the new girl is fantastic!

Good amount of humor and the talk/style of speech is definitely modernised - but overall....... 9/10 easy - could be more....

I can't think of another movie that I've lusted for pt2 of as much in recent times. going again saturday!
