I’d rather trade Dame for a Kings ransom than hire Kidd.

Hire Billups then trade CJ for Smart or Brown then re-sign Powell
a lot of people expecting CJ to be traded, but it's not going to happen if Olshey is still GM
It has to happen... because Norm is gone otherwise.
I sure hope so.do you really believe Olshey would take Powell over CJ?
I can see him as our next coach. Olshey is the king of mediocrity and that is where Kidd lives as a coach much like Stotts.
Very mediocre.
There ya go.I’m afraid this is going to be a case of “grass is always greener on the other side.” It’s not obvious who, if anyone, is going to be a good replacement.
We aren’t gonna get Phil Jackson. We would be lucky to get Van Gundy. Instead we will probably get someone incredibly mediocre like Billups, or even worse: Hammond.
Was Stotts a good coach? Not really. But he was at least mediocre and has been with the team for years. We are probably going to replace him with someone that is only marginally more talented but has no experience with our players. By the time they gel with Dame he will be out of his prime.
If Dame has "major input", you can bet that Vanderpool will be his first choice. Hopefully he wouldn't run anything similar to Stotts offense. A big plus would be getting rid of CJ, signing Powell and teaching Dame better defense. Upgrade the personnel and hire a strong defensive assistant coach. If not Vanderpool, I'd love to see Ime here. He has been learning from Pop for several years plus his calling card was defense when he played.
New it was coming. "I been telling ya" will be all over this eventually.Lol. He finally gets fired and it’s taken about four minutes to be negative about the next coach before he or she even starts. Love it.
Ugh.
Mo Cheeks. The last time we hired a coach to appease our star player it worked out SO well...
That New Jersey team overachieved big time prompting the move to Milwaukee where he was GM and coach. He had a young team and did pretty well with them.
