LA and Dame's production doesn't worry me as much as everyone elses. We can't win off those two alone. We need that legit third option, Wes, Batum, Kaman, etc just are not it.
Wes is one of the best SGs in the league. Just about every team in the league would like him on their roster. We have one of if not the highest scoring 3aomes in the NBA.

It's so nice to hate a team and see their superbowl dreams snatched from them in the last seconds! The shot of Richard Sherman crying made my night! I don't understand why anyone in Portland would cheer for the Seacawks. They don't cheer for the Blazers, fuck them.

My cousin is high on the list of several Patriot career stats. That being said, the Hawks are solid, and I *almost* wanted them to win. But seeing Dick Sherman shit himself was classic and reminded me I would be happier with a C'awks loss.

LA is a big time player who is playing his best basketball with a bad thumb. He is not a problem. And Dame will step up when it matters. I trust him.
So your saying that right now it really doesn't matter?

It's easy to see why Wilson threw it.

He isn't consistent enough offensively, I love Wes, he works his ass off but he can't be relied upon to give you the same numbers each night, so often we see him get hot and end with 20+ but other nights he is absolutely cold and gives us 8-12. For a 6th man that's gravy for a starter, that needs to be tightened up.

Fewer players on the court in basketball so injuries have a different impact. Totally different.

Subjective opinion. Trying to arguing it is subjective and dumb, like your post. Players get injured for different reasons and different ways in the various sports. Lose 2 starting pitchers, your starting 2b, 1B, CF.... All for different reasons. The point is... Injuries suck. But I've seen plenty of teams overcome and succumb. Balanced, tough team overcome. Trying to separate the sports accordingly is stupid and subjective.

Sure, I understand why it looked like he could make the play at this point, but what I don't understand is why it was a passing situation at all. By any sane measure, this picture should show Marshawn Lynch celebrating in the end zone.

It's a process. They built a big cushion that helped them survive these rash of injuries. Lopez will probably be back this week and we are getting lots of rest time with most games at home this month. March will determine our seeding but regardless, about 90% chance we will be no worse than 4th seed but may not have HCA. But it's all about leading up to being ready for the playoffs. You don't lose a game in January and then say "that's it! We'll lose in April!" Doesn't work that way. Look at poor Rockets. They were 3-1 against us last year and 4-0 against Spurs. They thought they were on the right side of the bracket and had a good chance of making it to the Finals. But when it came time for prime time play, they weren't ready, dropping two home games to open the playoffs.

Exactly. It's different. Not sure why you're saying my post is dumb. I said the two sports are different. That is true.

For reals though, condolences to the actual real Seattle fans here. I know the feeling.

Hopefully the niners can make next season interesting again, I feel like getting through sf really ensured Seattle dominated the broncos last year. That was a damn trench war.

That was a great play. The C'awks got beat on a great play by the defender. Blame the play call all they want - they're in denial that someone beat them with better play.

Great game.

Came into the bar in the 2nd quarter.
Saw a Gronk Spike
Seahawks in control.
Pats took over.
Seahawks within striking distance to win.
But choked. Then went out like bad sports to further embarass themselves and their franchise.

It's all different but the fact remains..... Injuries are a cheap excuse and the best teams win regardless. Obviously, football is different from soccer which is different from baseball which is different from basketball. Blaming losses on injuries is reasonable; using it as your primary excuse is lame. You can still win despite injuries.

To a "T", you described what they call, "shitting the bed".

And the Blazers have won despite probably the most injuries of the top 8 teams in the West. Aldridge, Batum, Freeland, and Lopez have missed a lot of games. And we're still 32-16. Very impressive when you remember we were 33-49 the season before Lopez. Lopez turned our whole team around and when he went down, it was bad for us. Affected our starting lineup as well as our bench. Things will be much better when he returns.

Like any other team in any other sport.... You have to make adjustments.

Pete Carroll's a fool, thats all I have to say about that.

I fear for the Seahawks organization after this. Remember what the gut punch loss to the Lakers did to the Blazers. They started gripping and getting desperate for players that would get them "over the hump", which just poisoned the chemistry. Pretty soon the franchise was in ruins and the fans turned on them. I see that easily happening to the Seahawks.
