Talking heads saying the US has lost credibility bothers me.

It does see to me that Barrack Obama may have lost some credibility for his meaning less red line.

But no way did the United States loose anything. To the contrary, a fundamental truth has been demonstrated again.

"Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

The people of the United States have been speaking loudly the past few days, damn near in unison and the President listened. Congress listened. I think the World has noticed.

Anyways, the fact he had to "ask" for congress to vote....seems to me to be a "um, that's how it's SUPPOSED to be" moment.

I for one am glad it was put up to a vote (or at least, voted on in some form).

People want to complain about things for the sake of complaining about things.
