Let's face it, the ONLY way the Blazers can even have a snowball's chance in hell of beating the Warriors is with a healthy, beasting Nurkic. We all saw the video of him taking pain-free warmup shots before the Minnesota game, but will he be ready to go next weekend? What percentage will be be if he is? Is there time to re-integrate him back into the flow of the offense/defense?

I don't want the team to jeopardize his health by playing him, but I am very curious to know how competitive we would be against the Warriors with him playing well. And I want to see Nurk just give Draymond some of his own medicine, purely for my own entertainment.

Nurkic played on the injury against Houston and did fine, I can't imagine the injury would be hampering him.

Ditto. If Draymond tries to punch Nurk's nutsack I think Nurk will be very angry.

YES YES and another YES! I'm afraid he might do something that would get him suspended into next season though...or maybe he is smart and would let his pops take care of Draymond off the court!

No shit, Nurks dad would be waiting in the locker room, the lights off, smoking a cigar

If Draymond is thinking of kicking Nurk in the balls like he did Adams, it will be the last thing he does.

You know what Nurks dad wouldn't wait in the locker room or hallway, he'd come straight down to the court and take green out

Could you imagine the look on Greens face to turn and see Nurks dad lumbering towards him

Green would try to hide behind the refs, or his teammates/ coaches and they'd all be like fuck you man. Security would quit

My white sauces are telling me that Nurkic will not be back for the playoffs.

The thing is, we may not be jeopardizing his health. We really have no idea of the extent of his injury. A non-displaced fracture could be anything from a ting crack in the surface of the bone, to broken 99.9% of the way through.

The good news is, that's something that's easy to see on an x-ray. Its also easy to compare x-rays to see how well it's healing. The team won't play him if they think there is a risk. If not, turn the beast loose. Nurk wanted the playoffs and I'd love to see him play.

Nurkic was born in 1994, the Bosnian war didn't end until 1995. Children born during war can suffer from malnourishment and have medical problems such as brittle bones.

Infants who suffer from poor prenatal care or childhood malnutrition rarely grow to be 7' tall and 280 lb. Nurk doesn't look like he missed too many meals.

So what's the latest official word? Still "two weeks (from the injury) and reevaluate?" When will that two weeks be up?

If he can go, there is no way they don't play him, due to

1. The competitive nature of the guys, team, and sport

2. The incredible national branding opportunity, story, lead-in to next year

3. And locally, Nurk Fever, part II.
