Durant has under performed the last two post seasons. He's no longer in his prime. I think Ant + picks + MAYBE Little. We have the assets to get it done.

It's on Durant to give the green light now.
Durant didn’t underperform last year. His series against the Bucks was probably the best of his career. For the whole playoffs, he averaged 34 & 10 on 51/40/87 shooting.

Looks like Dame deleted all of his IG stories with the KD photo.
dame creating way too much drama on social. league rules on tampering actually includes players, even if they so rarely enforce it. Draymond got fined 50k for saying Devin Booker should leave Phoenix on TNT. Maybe someone from the league office told Dame to cool it.

Dame has posted stuff like this before-- with Melo in Blazer jerseys 2 yrs before we actually landed him.

Look man i would love it. I've been on this KD to Portland shit for over a month but if a bidding war ensues, we dont have the pieces. And KD at age 34 coming off his injuries is not gonna threaten to sit out like Simmons. Especially if teams like Memphis or Toronto or Denver decide to cash in their assets.

I disagree. Portland very much has the assets and most teams with good front offices want to accommodate. IE James Harden, Jerami Grant. If both sides want it, Brooklyn will work with us to get assets without stripping everything for a chance to win a championship.

Did Dame really followed then unfollowed Shaedon Sharpe on Instagram??

Weird behaviour

If we did that, we'd be like the Nets trading for Kevin Garnett. Or the Nets trading for James Harden.

I'd rather trade Dame to the Nets than trade for Durant. YES I MEAN IT
This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. What the fuck?

I agree, we definitely have the assets for a team who is looking for young talent.....assuming the Nets value Sharpe.
Other teams with lots of young assets don't really have a desire for Durant.

I'd imagine the basis of it could look like Ant or Sharpe + Nas + Keon + picks & swaps

Slight favor for us to keep Nassir depending on the number of picks.

I'm looking at this like 95/5 this won't happen but it feels like it could be a great fit/legacy story. That's the 5%. The 95% no is because I don't really believe Durant could suspend his bias against Portland. Though he and Damian and Jerami Grant spent quality time together in the Olympics.

I see a little smoke. Let's wait for the first dominoe to fall. Kyrie.

Yep, it would a fun few years and then a precipitous decline. I personally like the young talent on the roster and don't like a game where ring chasers bounce around franchises as mercenaries. Durant has ZERO emotional appeal to me and even with a title it would somehow feel hollow to me. We've created a society where "get the bag" is a popular line of reasoning for doing just about anything. I think this is just that.

Wasn't there a story or comment by KD at one point that he hated the Blazers out of all the NBA teams because we passed on him? I mean, time heals all and he wants to win and Dame is a good option.

Who knows. Paolo made it known he didn't really want to play with OKC since they left Seattle.

As the #1 guy on a superstar-rich team, he underperformed, which is why his legacy has been questioned at the very least.

Does Durant hate laundry?

Because since Durant was drafted the Blazer owner died, president left, GM fired, GM fired, president left, GM fired.

Also the founder of his biggest endorsement put in an offer to buy the team.

Maybe, maybe not. I'd have to hope he wouldn't care. But, i do think its unlikely we would get him anyways.
