I watched the slow motion gif to see exactly what happened: landed on foot, tibia/fibula snapped.

His ankle wasn't hurt. It's a clear tibia/fibula injury.

The ref walked up and kicked him and walked over him...the other ref was like what the fuck dude

that's exactly how it played out in my mind. Just as I was exhaling from what looked to be a really bad knee injury for Damian, and realized he was fine..this shit happens. that's exactly how it played out in my mind. Just as I was exhaling from what looked to be a really bad knee injury for Damian, and realized he was fine..this shit happens. But the difference is, you could tell right away this wasn't just a banged up shin. The close up with the camera didn't help at all.

So, I watched all of regulation at work and decided to go home and watch OT at home. I get home and get two text messages before I can start watching it. One says "Are you watching the game?" which I thought maybe it might have been an exciting OT. The 2nd one however says "There goes our season." So I'm thinking fuck that means Dame gets hurt in OT.

When Dame got his knee injury, I went back and watched it a couple of times and was about to text him that Dame will be fine, it's one of those things that's sore for a few minutes but not serious and before I could finish texting the Nurk thing happened. So the whole time I thought it was Dame and breathed a big sigh of relief too and then the horror of the Nurk injury.
