We could offer him a $5.3 million. He just opted out of $30 million. Why not though?
Does that clear it up?

Yes, thank you.We could offer him a $5.3 million. He just opted out of $30 million.

Huge overpay for either of them.
This has been shot down about 24 hours ago. Celtics and Horford aren’t even speaking, supposedly.

Haha. Oh no, Conley got traded! Everyone make panic moves and overpay for horrible contracts!Fuck it. In light of this Conley trade, I'd be willing to trade 3 1sts for Griffin. 25 + 2 future firsts or 25 + 1 future first + Simons.
I'll even give two firsts for Kevin Love if they take all 3 of our albatrosses and they throw in JR Smith's partially guaranteed contract. Should open up some room for the full MLE.
Not sure about that, I can see him wanting to hook ring chase at his age. Those tweets say to me. If you want me Boston you better open up your wallets more. I still say Boston is the front runners though.
I'm less concerned about winning deals, I just want to win games. Danny Ainge is the argument against putting value first in all of your deals. Look at the Celtics now....
To me, next year is the best chance we will have at winning a title in the foreseeable future. We are in Dame's absolute prime. Golden State won't have Klay and KD even if both resign. The Lakers have 3 players on their team. Houston is at the verge of imploding. I want to see Olshey go for it just one time instead of playing around the margins. He just got a contract extension, his financial security is safe even if he gets fired. If it takes an extra first round pick to get a deal done, well, that's one less Caleb Swanigan....
Blake was All NBA third team this year and absolutely carried his piss poor team into the playoffs. That's not damaged goods.Cant win games with injured players. BOTH of those albatross contracts are on damaged goods.

You mean like half the other stars in the league who carry a massive workload?Aaaannnnnnd... Injured in the playoffs....

A healthy Blake is worth every penny of his contract. If we can work through the regular season with decent depth and have him available for multiple rounds in the playoffs, we would be a perennial title contender (esp if we still retain CJ/Nurk).So place him under "load management" for the season. Worked pretty well for an unnamed finals MVP....

A healthy Blake
You called an all nba player damaged goods. Not sure you understand what that means.Man, stop with that. We all know how injury prone both of them are. Now you're minimizing.
Both of them are on massive, albatross like deals and both of them are very injury prone. These are facts.
He meant during the season I believe. I think he only played 66 games or so.Really? Kawhi Leonard played a record 39 minutes a game in the Post season. That's a full 400+ more minutes than he played when he won his first finals MVP.

What did the Jail Blazers win exactly? We got to the WCF without a single bad character guy on the team (unless you believe Turkey that Kanter is a terrorist).@dviss1 I noticed a players character is very important to you. You hate LA and Griffin it seems for there behavior, I can tell. Nothing wrong with that. Curious how you felt about the Jail Blazers. They were bad boys, but they won a lot.
I think a little toughness and bad boy is what this team needs. Just a dash.
I just said they won a lot....... of games. What did the Jail Blazers win exactly? We got to the WCF without a single bad character guy on the team (unless you believe Turkey that Kanter is a terrorist).
So has this team with good guys on it. You're not making a very strong case.I just said they won a lot....... of games.

Regular Season:
Griffin: 21159 minutes played, 604 games
Dame: 19907 minutes played, 549 games
Playoffs:
Griffin: 1870 minutes played, 53 games
Dame: 2067 minutes played, 51 games
Blake is only a year older than Dame. He's in his absolute prime.
My bad. I didn’t look at any link. I just assumed the Jail Blazers were a more dominant team than this current one. Higher winning %.So has this team with good guys on it. You're not making a very strong case.
