Cavs guard Kyrie Irving expected to be out 4 weeks with a hairline, non-displaced fracture of left index finger.

Damn, I was looking forward to seeing him against Lillard. Oh well.

HF Barnes 20/12 4-6 3P in win

Barnes is heating up, helps when the main guy taking your time goes down with one of the more horrific knee injuries since Shaun Livingstons. I'v watched a few games and his main problem seems to be he can't create for himself. There is no reason he shouldn't be able to create for himself, but everyone saw the same thing when Marshall went down last year in college.

@HoopsHype: Point guard watch. Raymond Felton: 15.5 ppg, 6.5 apg, 42.1 percent shooting. Jeremy Lin: 10.5 ppg, 6.6 apg, 34.2 percent shooting.

Nah, I just think he took other teams and their scouting reports by surprise last season.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the "scouting reports" caught up with him at about the exact same time Carmelo came back from his injury.

I'm not saying he's an all-star, but a PG that can pass and score consistently is pretty valuable. And what, has he played about 60 games total? He's basically half a season in development ahead of Lillard. And for a guy who's a homeless man's Nash, I think it takes a bit to get accustomed to the league and to figure out what you need to work on to beat those scouting reports. Even guys like K*be and Durant continuously add stuff to their game.

Was just discussing with my co-worker, OKC should have kept Harden and traded Westbrook for somebody like Bledsoe.

Interesting. I can see the argument for doing that. So is the debate who is easier to replace? or or which is easier to replace with someone who would compliment the remaining two.

To me it comes down to this: Which player do I fear facing the most. As inconsistent he can be shooting the ball, and as selfish he can be looking for his own shot, and as cocky as he can be in Subway.......I would keep Westbrook. He is so disruptive for opponents. He is a great competitor.
If I was OKC and had to choose one over the other, I keep him over Harden.

But I would have kept Harden too. you build around all three.

I know it's a debate here, but consensus around the league seems to be you don't trade a Westbrook away. Which I agree with . . . even when Harden was playing out of his mind.

I said last year they should trade Westbrook for Rondo and keep Harden.

A scoring point gaurd isnt hard to find anymore. Almost every team has one. Of course one as good as Westbrook is very hard to find. Infact only about one other player is on his level and that player tore his acl last year. Iv watched a lot of okc and the reason id take Harden over Westbrook is that Harden can run a team much like kobe and dwade while Westbrook tries to run a team like Iverson but okc is not setup to be run like the Iverson 76ers.
The difference is very apparent when okc needs a bucket or its crunch time. Westbrook will look for himself first second and third before passing while Harden tries to make the smart play.
If I was okc id have tried to trade Westbrook for rondo and fab melo or sullinger.

Kobe would play through it.

They're going to have to choose between Bledsoe and CP3.

I think it's obvious they'll keep Paul but they should get something very nice in return for Eric.

IIRC one of the players on the radar for Portland was Bledsoe for that #11 pick.

We were rumored to be after Bledsoe last year, and then again during the summer.

I recall several people here crapping on him and calling him overrated, injury-prone, a bust, etc.

Could Bledsoe potentially cause a controversy at the PG position?

I think the Blazers wanted a PG that would be content with being a backup PG and let Lillard go through his growing pains. Nolan Smith was suppose to be that guy, now it looks like Price is taht guy.

Watching Bledsoe I think he'd work with a Lillard-type.

IMO he's the most effective when he looks to score.

A starting PG or a super 6th man.

No on Bledsoe. Bledsoe is starting pg in this league. We already have one. Price is perfect backup and he's not 100% yet. Bulls game is what we'll get from him now.

How about the reason I'm in first place in my fantasy hoop league....... Jrue Holiday is fucking balling! Tonight 19/8/12/3

Just watched the Knicks play. One third of their team is made up of former Blazers. Crazy. 8-1. Living in NY, Ai feel like I should be excited about this. I've always rooted for the Knicks and Sheed is one of my favorite players ever but the team as a whole seems to cocky for my taste. Maybe I'm just pissed they replaced the likable Lin with Felton.

Yes he is. If Bynum was healthy, they'd be a contender.

Just sat down to watch this Laker game FAMS! Ready to see them put up 135 tonight!#runandgun

I'm looking forward to Nets/Lakers too. The top two teams in the East are both NY teams.

Yep! They are gonna' crush the Nets....... and D12 is going to be pumped after DWill has been talking smack about him the past couple days. 133-99!
