Devil's tower, WY - we visited and to the site about 20 years ago. We drove by this time and decided that it was cool to see it from far away, but up close it is less interesting, so just skipped it.

Major Amarillo tourist trap, but DAMN was it good!. But ironically, the brisket was better at the Hotel turkey (BYOB)

One of the cool things I found when we got up close, other than being able to climb on the boulders, is snapping a picture and seeing this...face?...popping out of the side.

Valley of Fire, NV, it was 108 degrees outside, other than that - one of the coolest places I have ever been. Only Joshua Tree can rival it in feeling like an alien planet.

Man that was a crazy fast trip.
Called at 11pm Thursday asking if I could do a noon MLS playoff game Saturday out there.
Took a bunch of time off in September to be around for my daughters last HS season, so it’s about time to start putting in some hours again. Said yes.
Left at 10 am yesterday…. Got to my hotel at 6pm last night. Just walked in the door at home.
Door to door 36 hours. The motherfucker is tired.
Swung by DUMBO on the way to JFK for some Shake Shack.
