^photoshopped !!!!!!!

Nope. But even with a 600mm equivalent lens - I was too close. These guys are dangerous. Can't go anywhere in Denali without bear spray if by mistake you run too close to them. I believe below you see his Mom. If you look closely - the shot is not as sharp as I like - because it was from so far away and there is so much air between you and the animal. Add the fact that I did not want to stay too long before they closed the distance - and it is not the greatest shot in the world.

Totally joking. Fantastic pics.

I went with my mother in May of 2005 to Washington DC. I took over 100 photos for the week that we were there; all of which I still have. However, there is one that stands out to me; a favorite of mine:

DSCF0084.JPG

Taken at the TOTU. I had just got done taking a photography class in college, and learning about how to "lead into the photo" with an object; in this case, the mat he was standing on.

I couldn't have taken a better photo if I tried. The sign in the background, the stance, the flowers, etc etc. It was a perfect shot.

Taken with a Fujifilm Finepix 3800 camera. Obsolete by today's standards, but it was still a good camera back then.
