From the sound of it the players thought that they had a ton of leverage so they asked for more then just system changes and it pissed the owners off. Both sides seem way to prideful. Goodbye NBA season.

League source also said players not getting full midlevel from luxury tax teams..players not asking for full ml, just increase from $3 mill

I can't believe these guys are going into their 14th hour meeting!!!! I wonder if they are just arguing or what? How can you meet that long and NOT come to an agreement?

Shocked that this is over. Rumors of PA selling the team kinda neutralizes my excitement though.

Agreement will be followed reforming of the union, which must be recognized by the owners -- a formality, pending finalization of details.
 
The players will have to reform the union, and the 450-plus players will still have to ratify a deal to make it official.

Agreement is on main framework of deal. All the B-list items (drug testing, DLeague, etc) still need to be negotiated.
